After having 5 different vacuum cleaners over the past 8 years, none of them can compare to this ones efficiency. It really has made my house feel cleaner dispite having older carpets. Was always put off by the price but there are some good deals on Dysons now if you search around. My old hoover, left me having to sweep the stair AFTER I had cleaned it - won't be doing that again now...

I normally go for the most expensive item, but I wasn't sure I wanted to get into fruit juicing for a long time so I only invested 25 pounds on it instead of the £75 requested by the Philips Alu model. I was impressed by the quality of the experience. The machine is made of heavy plastic, is nearly silent, easy to clean, fast and furious on the fruit. I still think that a mature pear is a delicious think to put your teeth in but the glass full of 5 different juices (apple, carrot, celery, pear, mandarine and a piece of lemon with the rind on) was a new amazing experience, absolutely delicious! Handle has just fallen off. Thankfully it was full of cold water. The kettle bounced off our granite surface and hit our Russell Hobbs matching toaster which now doesn't work. You couldn't have written this comedy sketch if you had tried. Not a happy bunny.

Used the Kitchen Kraft pasta machine twice and then one of the rollers distorted making it unusable for making pasta. Very disappointed. Expect something to last more than a couple of times.

A brilliant ironing board cover in that there are no strings or cords to pull, unlike other ironing board covers, (can be more like a game of tug of war when trying to put a new cover on when trying to get exact fit and strings in place). But no more with this excellent item. Stays in place when put on, no wrinkling or coming loose, quite thick so a smooth ironing surface is had. Suitable for ladies and men to put on ironing board, so more excuses men for not doing the ironing. (Put one in your partners xmas stocking(or just left out as a thoughful gift). We brought this cooker initially for the rice cooking function but now also use it for porridge making and slow cooking. Its a great bit of kit thats so easy to use and clean and makes amazing rice! If you are looking at a slow cooker anyway spend a few more pounds and buy this one!

Beautiful to look at. Good size, great shape. The glass dome is big and is light in weight. Glass dome material is very thin and I am so afraid of shattering it when putting it over the cake plate. I guess it will be fine if one wants it to look pretty on display but to be actually lifting the dome & putting it down again ... hmmm.... Better to see and feel the actual item in John Lewis etc. first before buying it !! I should have done that !
