WOW! this morning before my dyson arrived i scrubbed all my carpets with a dry scrubbing brush to get rid of the dog hairs and then hoovered them (as i have been doing for months as our vacuum cleaner is rubbish) when the dyson arrived i thought i would test it too make sure it works...wow! it picked up two canisters worth of dog hair..I amazed. i was a bit worried i had wasted a load of money on this cleaner..but it is worth every penny, its fantastic! highly recommend it to all pet owners who are fed up with having dog/cat fur over your black tops and trousers!

After years of Dysons and after each one swearing I'd never buy another I decided to buy this Vax. Looks impressive but fails to deliver. I find it does not pick up well on hard floors, it takes 3 times as long as before for an unsatisfactory result. Carpets are ok and the extension is good for cleaning the stairs. Hoovering with this is better than going to the gym as THIS HOOVER IS HEAVY when you are using on carpets. If you have any type of back problem I would avoid this hoover. I dislike this hoover with a passion and am contemplating buying a different one as a result. Come back Dyson, all is forgiven.

I bought this for two reasons, one, the old fashioned method took too much effort, and two because of the reviews it was given. They were all right, it does exactly what it says on the tin with no fuss at all. Easy to clean and quick to do the job. Even my husband (the chef in the house) who grumbled at first that it would take longer to clean than use, is impressed. I wish I had bought one years ago.

After about 6 months I noticed that the handle (which is affixed to the lid, presumably with glue) was coming adrift and was in fact hanging off. I took it back and had a replacement becuse I really liked the steamer. It has a good capacity reservoir, an external fill facility and the bowls are dishwasher safe - all essentials as far as I am concerned. I only had the replacement at the beginning of August and lo and behold the handle came right off the lid on Sunday just as I was about to dish up my veggies. Having never seen these lights in a shop, I imagined them to be really compact and with a little lithium battery. None of the stores on Amazon state the dimensions and I should have spotted the description saying each light runs from 3 AAA batteries - so they cannot be very small. Actual size is 7cm diameter and 2cm deep. The light is good though.

My little girl is a huge Peppa Pig fan and absolutely loves these stickarounds. They are great because you can reuse them and they do not mark your walls. They are great value for money, there are lots of them and they are very colourful and vibrant. On seeing them on the wall my daughter's first word was 'WOW'.
