Just got it today, VERY EASY TO USE. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT its around 5 kilograms but you dont need to hold on to it. Beautiful design of machine and package, (whom ever packs them must be a mensa genius, you will see why when you buy one). VERY SMALL dyson design, very cute, and space saving too. VERY USEFUL and tiny you could carry it in your school/college/kit/gym-bag. VERY HARD... VERY QUIET, unbelievably compared to the old models. Comes with a good range of attachments. MADE IN MALAYSIA. This is a good starter kit for those who might want a processor but aren't sure they need it or have space for it on the kitchen counter. The accessories work fine, the blade is sharp and both grater and slicer work well. They're fairly easy to clean (the inside of the blade is quickly dealt with using the handle of the scraper). The buttons are fine, though you're likely to end up using the Pulse mode more often, as it makes it easier to control the output. Sounds alrigt, so why only 2 stars? Well, the main bits aren't all that easy to clean - especially if you do your laundry by hand. I bought this product for £9.99, i didn't expect miracles but i thought it would help me sweat a bit around my belly and help shedding few centimetres I do exercise at the gym so i thought this was a little extra I have used it twice and that is it for me... i can't even give it away because i think it's dangerous.. I have been careful and decided to put it at the minimum temperature then slightly go up a bit. I felt a burning feeling, my belly was red and i stopped. I bought this item in 2006 and used it during the summer months of 2007 (mainly). With the start of summer 2008 we decided to use the blender to make smoothies only to find that the motor died. Philips are unable to replace the item due to the fact that we know longer have the receipt and with the cost to fix it, we are better off just purchasing another blender. I have given the item three stars because whilst it worked it was really a good product. Don't lose the receipt and when the motor dies you will have better luck than I did. For the amount of money we originally spent on the item I would have thought it would have lasted longer than two years. Unfortunately this seems to be a problem with most Philips items. This is a well conceived and made bit of kit, it makes difficult sauces/'cappucino' with no fuss, it is easy to use and clean. the Ramsey cd is very helpful; He says that each of his restaurant stations has their own. So much better than the good but cheaper alternatives. Buy one, get some eggs and you'll be making real mayo and bechemel in no time. One of only a few kitchen Gadgets i would replace if it would (unlikely) fail. It's quite possible to take off your finger pulp if you change ends without turning off the power, be careful!
