We bought the double life filters a while back with the Morphy Richards kettle and they actually last about 60 days!. Compared to the other 30 day filters they are great value, the Morphy kettle is ok so far as well....

I am really impressed with this. It takes no time at all to make poached egg on toast. You can choose the softness or hardness of the egg by the measuring jug provided. Bad Points? I too wish it did 2 poached eggs at once. Very pleased with it and have recommended it to most of my friends.

A good iron with a nice flexible old fashioned style flex. It is solid and feels good in the hand, glides well over clothes, not so hot it melts things and is a sensible price. The shot of steam is impressive but only four stars because a) the 360 degrees cord movement is too stiff b)the steam volume selection dial has numbers on it that can only be seen under bright light with a magnifying glass (no exaggeration) which makes it difficult to work out whether steam is on or off. This is compounded by the anti-drip system which (I think) stops the water flowing into the hotplate unless there is enough heat. Having been initially pleased with this smoothie maker, I have now encountered the same problem as a previous reviewer - the tap retaining ring has broken in half. I always feared that this part was the weakest link as it is a small plastic ring which could easily get lost or broken and after 3 months I have been proven right. RH Customer Services said that they had received no other complaints about this part - clearly not true - and told me I could buy a replacement tap. As the product is still under warranty I shall return it instead. Although this is a good looking appliance and when it works makes good smoothies, I feel unable to recommend it because of the frailty of this ring.

I was looking for a bagged vacuum cleaner which is compact and light but powerful, and after reading reviews for different models I purchased the Electrolux Powerlite Z3318. I am very pleased with its performance and haven't even used the maximum suction power yet. The vacuum cleaner works equally well on carpets and on hard floors thanks to the dual purpose floor nozzle and is also great for cleaning corners and upholstery (using the included nozzle tools). Highly recommended.

My 89 year old mother suffers with arthritis making it very difficult and dangerous for her to open cans etc. With this product she has a new lease of life so much so we are buying more for other not so aged members of the family!!! I have never owned a Kenwood Chef before and must admit I was a bit dubious after reading the reviews but I am delighted!! A LOT less washing up than my previous food processor and so easy to use. Only one beater which works really well (we did have to adjust it slightly but it wasn't complicated) and now making my husband lots of gluten free bread and cakes. Incidently the delivery was soooooooooooo fast I couldn't believe it!!
