Had it for a couple weeks now and is my first grill. Makes food much better than pans/ovens, heats up quickly, very happy with it. Downside is it only has one temperature and the timer makes sounds but doesn't turn itself off, requiring a constant presence. It's great for steaks, heating up bread, vegetables etc but we tried cooking sausages on it and the skin was well burnt before the inside was reasonably cooked, a problem caused by no temp control.

I've owned this kettle for nine years and it has served me well in London, Moscow, Kiev, Frankfurt and Almaty. I just googled it as it has developed an intermittent fault where it won't turn always turn on. This seems to be something to do with the lid. (Shutting the lid in a certain way appears to get it to work again.) Not a bad effort after nine years and with several thousands of miles on the clock! Also if you're worried about plastic leeching, the inside is all stainless steel, unlike other kettles that look stainless steel on the outside but have plastic inside. The kettle also looks elegant and, erm, boils water. Would buy it again without hesitation if I can find it and my current one's fault won't go away.

My mum has always used a pressure cooker and her veg is always cooked to perfection, as are her soups, stews ect... I was terrified of this when I first bought it, frightened it would blow up! But it came with very clear instructions that told you how to control it and said that there was more pressure in a children's bike tyre than when this is on full. So that gave me more confidence to use it. Since then I have been making soups, stews, cooking my veg for my Sunday dinner and cooking steak. Its fab! And takes a lot less time than boiling veg in a pan. Its also great to use as a big saucepan if you are doing spaghetti or chilli for a large number of people.
