I Love Aaliyah-and this is a great album. Its not like like one in a million which i prefer, and i would have preferred a more R&B old school vibe like we are used to aaliyah doing on this album, however she was trying out different styles with this, and it kinda worked, as she moved to a more mature vibe. The wonderful 'We Need A Resolution', 'Rock The Boat' 'Try Again' 'I Care For you' and 'More Than A Woman' are all memorable and now legendary classics. I Care 4 U should have been released. Again, Timbalands legendary production has not failed to miss this album. The only problem i have with this is a few of the songs fail to be either R&B, pop nor rock and were best being replaced with her normal style. (Eg U got Nerve and I Refuse) ... Read More:

First of all this album is called 'Ultimate Aaliyah', so surley all of her hit singles should be on there?? not really in this case, it may be a double CD but there are some tracks missing for the bunch! The main one that i noticed that wasn't there was 'Journey to the past' this song was nominated for an oscar and its not even on her GH?! the version of 'The one i gave my heart to' is so soppy and sounds really dated - the alternate version (the one that was released should be there) and finaly where is the 'Got to give it up' REMIX - that tune is amazing! the original one is there but... its not the same isit!! On a good note I'd never say a bad word about Aaliyah's Music. The songs that are there still make this a superb album.

yeh. okay, so lee lee's had loads of albums out since this one and passed away three years on August 25th. However, i recently moved house and during transit my Aaliyah album snapped, so i went all out and bought a new one. This album is sick if you like the thick and heavy old skool beats, coz i was a fan of it then and still am now. Aaliyah showcases her voice in many ways especially with 'the one i gave my heart to' as well as the more well known tunes which always have me shaking my rump, like 'if your girl only knew', hot like fire and the 'one in a million'. enjoy!!!!

damn this is the hottest women ever to grace this earth with the voice of an angel or someone who is enlightened with a talent that she shares freely with us mortals. Plus she's got the moves of a silky goddess and the acting talents of one of the greats. This alblum is hot, sounds great, really nice rythums with interesting lyrics a true work of art. The best thing i've ever heard. BUY IT, IT'S THAT GOOD.
