This set does not, despite the title, include the complete studio recordings. However, every studio track previously released is here. There are even about three exclusive tracks (or rather alternative versions of existing songs) not available anywhere else. To get the rest, you'd probably have to separately buy double the number of CD's included here, such is the rarity of some of the tracks. For instance, "I Am The City" was only previously included on "More Abba Gold" which has now been deleted. The only things you won't find in this set are the live recordings, however a new live CD is allegedly in the pipeline which will hopefully take care of these. Only two or three live recordings are currently available on CD elsewhere. ... Read More:

There are too many filler tracks on this album to make it a worthwhile purchase. Perversely, it's one of those tracks - Eagle - that means this collection gets two stars instead of just the one. Stick to "Gold", it's the one with all the cheesey disco on and is all you need.

There have been numerous AbbA collections (Gold, More Gold, Greatest Hits 1 & 2, Thank You For The Music, etc) but this one is a must. Not only does it include the extended version of 'Voulez Vous', which is a rarity & the UK remix of 'Ring Ring' but it includes all of their promo videos. Along with Queen, ABBA were quick to see the importance and the necessity of a promo video and although the videos are not exactly exciting, who can ever forget the video's for 'Knowing Me Knowing You' or 'The Winner Takes It All'. If you are new to ABBA, this is the one for you but it is just as important for completests.

There was sold 14 million copies of the first compilation and 2.5 million copies of the second one. And their music was rewakened all over the world then. Videos on DVD are excellent addition to the CDs. And what is more there are two bonus videotracks here: ABBA - The History (Documentary) and Dancing Queen (1992 version). All song have been remastered and they sound absolutely clear and grandly.
