I first heard the song Wish on Tony Hawks 3 and i knew i had to have the song and the album. I soon got the album and i havnt been able to stop listening to it since. All the songs are in my opinoin fantastic, they are all powerful and sung with lots of emotion and vigour. Im a fan of rock music and this album has loud and strong metal chords in spades! The songs like Flesh and Bone, Summer and Stranded are superb, there are also some hits like Smooth Criminal and Movies which you may have heard of already. This album is a must have for anyone in posession of a CD player and a good pair of ears. I already had the Anthology and was really impressed by its power and rock sound, when i was able to get my hands on their second album i jumped at the chance. the album opens well with the first 5 songs which i must admit carry on from where anthology left off but then the quality seems to drop and thepower just dissappears, there are no more metal chords and the lyrics fade a bit. i was slightly dissapointed but this second album did have a very steep hill to climb and the DVD is worth a watch as it is filled with songs from the better first album. As already pointed out this release has had no backing. I stumbled across it after thinking one day AAF should have released another cd by now. (stroke of luck then). Having already got the first and second cd it was a must for me to have. The first cd is really good, the second cd is really average to say the least, and this one is so much more appealing. It is the mature sounding songs that impress the most; 'crickets' and 'supreme lifestyle' are stand out tracks. AAF are trying to get away from the genre they were placed in. (nu metal), and they are doing it well; unlike some. Linkin park, take a bow!!

In my opinion there are only 3 covers which have managed to be better than their original recording: Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah, Santana's Black Magic Woman, and This. They pinpointed exactly what was missing from Michael Jackson's original - essentially attitude. AAF have achieved a difficult genre transition very successfully indeed, and amazingly retained all the orininal strengths of the song.

This is another classic from the current leaders of punk rock. When i first heard Smooth Criminal, their Michael Jackson cover, I became quickly tired of the song but Movies is a rock classic which will leave you buzzing for weeks after hearing it. Buy this DVD with supurb footage and you will never regret it.

The first fifteen or so times I heard this (or saw it, as it was originally on Q digital music channel) I was moved to apathy to see a band of young,bouncy ne'er do wells hopping and gurning around a film-set (whaddya-know?). I thought, oh yes please, more of this safe corporate rock with a comedy edge, please. And then, the unthinkable happened - they brought out a new, higher budgeted video which became the most played video on Kerrang and Q channels, plus a few of the poppy kids ones.
