I couldn't wait to get this album when it was released. The cover might look a bit strange but I am loving this album and play it all the time. It's a real shame that BWO don't get more exposure in the UK, although Radio 2 have played a couple of songs over the last few months. It's happy, happy music and I can't recommend it hightly enough.

Pop music as it's meant to be. Halcyon Days bursts open with the incredible album opener Chariots Of Fire. This fine slice of upbeat, uplifting pop was the song that originally attracted me to BWO. The pace and party continues with the catchy rather infectious Temple Of Love. Things slow down abit with ballads Will My Arms Be Strong Enough and the beautiful We Could Be Heroes. However strike your best disco pose as things get funky again with the booty shaking Juggernaut. Hanging On The Phones carries on the retro vibe with it's very Jackson five feel as well as the very happy I Keep Walking On of which you'll feel in bliss listening to. Bodies without organs yet again deliver a great pop cd, a good mixure or songs you can sing along in the style of prototype/halcyon nights mix. On this CD there are sixteen tracks! So it's worth the money, Chariots of fire is on here as one of the tracks. I loved at least 9 on first listen, and now I love all them! Great for the car on full blast. well bWo for doing what you do best - Great, sing-a-long pop/dance that makes you smile! PS love Let it Rain - it's a ballard, but a good one (see the video on u-tube)

YOU MUST BUY THIS ALBUM. You won't be disappointed if you like straight forward pop music. This does it all! This album produced 7 single releases in Sweden; I can't recall such an achievement since the days of Michael Jackson, and he was just being lazy. BWO produce a new album every year, which just goes to show this one carried so many excellent songs. SIXTEEN TONS OF HARDWARE is so anthemic that after a while you come to realise you're measuring the quality of all their other songs against this one alone. Had they been on Top Of The Pops this would have been a UK No1 without a doubt. Yes, this song does sound like a subdued crossover with Abba and Madonna's Hung Up, but in its own way it still sounds original and vibrant. However, little known fact is that this song is the FOURTH time BWO have tried represent Sweden in Eurovision (2005-2008), never quite making it; I think this came third out of THIRTY TWO songs to choose from. Sweden take their entry selection very seriously and make a big thing of it with so many songs to choose from. And generally many contestants compete every year. These can all be heard on a double CD called MELODIFESTIVALEN, which now goes back at least to 2006. in 2008 alone they had at least ten songs could have done it for them, and what is cheering to see is that they get released in Sweden and populate ... I have to confess to having been an absolute FAN of BWO since they began with Living In A Fantasy. This is the most successful format that creator Alexander Bard has had since 90s Army Of Lovers (another Band of that Decade!) drifted apart. He formed Vacuum along with the song writers from AOL, and then kicked off Alcazar. It's easy tos ee that had he persevered with Alcazar this is how they may have ended up sounding, but nonetheless, Bodies Without Organs have produce three excellent albums since 2004 and a Greatest Hits; enormous in Sweden and surprisingly other Eastern European countries, but never in the UK. When you really think hard about it you can see how tehy would have excelled in the UK charts had Tops Of The Pops still been around to allow them ... Read More:
