This soundtrack is the most hauntingly beautiful music that could accompany an excellent adaption of Phillipia Pearce's outstanding book and now movie adaption. It is not only beautiful , one can also feel the eerieness and mystery as the music seems to engulf you as you sit and with eagerness find yourself watching and listening to this timeless movie
The music is romantic, also and this movie's plot is definately a blend of romance (a special kind), Mystery, and adventure.
The music embraces all three of these elements and there's no
way that this music ever lets you do.It is an memorable experience that one will never forget.I think everyone will enjoy this music.I think there's few movies that can boast their soundtrack ... Read More:

Music : Wiseman: Oscar Wilde Fairy Tales
Debbie Wiseman produced one of the loveliest film scores of the last few years with her music for the film "Wilde" (starring Stephen Fry), so it only seems natural that she should turn to these, two of Oscar Wilde's most poignant and affecting fairy tales. Her music is sensitively scored, featuring delicate musical word-painting, performed by some first-rate soloists and the ASMF under Marriner. Fry narrates "The Nightingale & the Rose", a terribly sad tale enhanced by Wiseman's feel for beautiful melody (listen to the soaring flute theme for the Nightingale); while Vanessa Redgrave tackles "The Selfish Giant". But Wiseman is the star of the disc and it is her lovely music that makes this an album to cherish. ... Read More:

Music : Warriors Soundtrack
This is a great soundtrack to a great film. I loved the movie and its music so I knew this was a must buy for me. Its amazing how cheap you can pick this up for as the music is amazing and my all time fave soundtrack.

Enjoyed In the City at the credits of the movie? Couldnt stop humming that intro tune as The Warriors made their way across the city in the train? Always feel like dancing to Love is a Fire? If so then pick this up and enjoy the excellent music from the great film.

Music : Something Here -- The Film and Television Music of Debbie Wiseman
I have just been to see Debbie Wiseman conducting the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra at Cadogan Hall, London so thought I'd buy this album as a momento.
Hadn't come across her music before so wasn't too sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. I particularly enjoyed 'Wilde West', 'Judge John Deed' and 'My Uncle Silas'. In truth all the tracks are good but some are a little better than others but that shouldn't detract from the overall pleasure of hearing the music as it was intended to be heard from one of our best film composers.

By the way it played fine on my PC using Windows Media Player so not sure what the previous reviewer was on about.... maybe his PC was at fault

Music : Wilde
For a few years I have been studying Wilde. I think that Wiseman was successful when she tried to achieve beauty, as that was also Wilde's aim. One can easily listen to passion, love, sadness, loneliness and joy within a mist of exotic, strange and exquisite feelings. Not only Wiseman tried to define the persons for whom each theme is addressed to but, far more, the music reveals Wilde's emotions towards that person, either care and affection or mad and deep love. It has not only themes related with Wilde's relationships, it has also those related with his experience and his art. In relation with his experience one can listen to the theme with western colours and feel that you are there, or afterwards appear in a Victorian environment, this is great, ... Read More:
