Let's forget for a moment that diana ross has had about 1,000,000 greatest hits collections if you don't have all her other hits collections you should buy this one for sure if you are a diana ross fan you need this two amazing discs life all her upbeat pop hits love all her classic ballads my favorite tracks on this amazing two disc album are upside down not over you yet endless love untill we meet again gonig back the new track on the album overall it has to be a 10/10 must buy if you liked this album you should get Diana I Love You: +DVD Every Day Is a New Day or try Let the Music Play: Supreme Rarities 1960-1969.

if you are starting to get into diana ross and the supremes then this is a cd for you. all the hits are on this album, (not all ) you will find that most of the tracks have been changed in some way, you need to listen to other hit cds to find this out. the only bad think i will say is the very last track, you keep me hanging on,this is not a very good dance version of the song. i have 7 version's of this song and they seem to have put the worst one on this cd, why dont they think first. but apart from that it is well worth the money and you will enjoy a few special moments on the cd, with the girls giving as allways there best.

The first CD covers the music of the Supremes, with and without Diana, while the second CD covers Diana's solo career up to the time that she left Motown in 1981. Of the Supremes tracks, eighteen were recorded with Diana. I'm pleased to see My world is empty without you (one of their finest songs) included despite the fact that it completely missed the UK charts. I have to say that i am a big diana fan and have collected the majority of her solo albums either on vinyl or those remaster for cd release, and have been to several concerts however this album is one of the treasures of her collect with a few covers and i must say i do prefer her rendition to Imagine rather than Patti Labelles (live aid) or even dare i say it John Lennons! Excellent album but i do prefer her To Love Again (1981) album (return to motown since early 70's).

Diana Ross had not had a big UK hit since 'Love Hangover' in 1976 when this album was recorded. I love it, because it's the album that introduced me to the music of Diana Ross and in time many other Motown legends. This is not a typical Diana Ross album as there are no traditional ballads. Instead we get a succession of cool grooves from Chic's Edwards and Rogers with Diana's sumptious vocals over the top. Apart from the obvious charms of 'Upside Down' and 'I'm Coming Out' the outstanding tracks are 'Now That You're Gone' and 'Tenderness' (a minor hit in 1981). Motown writer and producer Deke Richards who played a major role in the Supremes "Love Child" single and album was as he put it, "given the keys to the Rolls Royce of Motown." Along with Hal Davis and Berry Gordy, they masterminded Diana Ross' second solo album originally released in 1970, and only now available in North America in an expanded compact disc format. Worth the wait? You bet! In the liner notes, Richards recalled Gordy wanting "something different out on Diana yesterday" and although "Everything Is Everything" is somewhat heavy with cover tunes, Ross finds nooks and crannies in familiar songs to weave her magic.
