This is such a classic album, which still sounds fresh 13 years after it was made. It has brilliant basslines, great production and tunes that just stick right in your head. It has a wonderful mix of upbeat folky dub madness like Little Britain and Captain Dread, alongside ambient dub excursions like Shining Light, Cave Of Angels and A Canterbury Tale. These ambient tunes are what really make this album special, taylormade for listening to when out amongst nature like walking in mountains, or sitting round a campfire at dawn. And I never get tired of them. In fact this is a perfect album for anyone who goes travelling to a strange new land, I've listened to it in Morocco and on the Inca Trail in Peru and it just seems to fit those special moments. ... I know the other reviews dont really say this album is too good but hey its all personal taste and I personally prefer this to the other albums. Best songs for me are I Know, Ska Con Queso and King Dub Rock. If you've heard dreadzone live then I dont think any of the albums do them justice but this one is closest for me. I would reccomend it to anyone!

3rd Album from the House of Dread and what a beauty! Biological Radio (and the other 3 Dreadzone albums) is deserving of more recognition than it gets; it delivers everything from upbeat dance dub (Moving on) to the spiritual (Earth Angel, Dream within a Dream). I'm biased, but I believe you cant go wrong with Dreadzone.

This is very poor. A pub band who would be great if you'd had a few jars and maybe dropped a pill. The audience were having a great night out, but as a a piece of music,take my advice and spend your money on something that sounds good on your hi-fi straight, not lashed in the boozer.

I cant describe music too well but if I told you that other favorites in my colllection were: Pink Flyod, Eat Static, Nightmares on Wax, Massive Attack and Portishead, then perhaps you can imagine what flavour it might be. I have played this album over and over and over, and i'm still not tired of it. Dont discount Sound or Second Light either. They are quite different to each other but still awsome in their own right! Big up to Mark at Cob records for the e-mail confirmation and speedy service! 10 out of 10 mate!

This is a pretty good album but i wouldn't say it was brilliant. I had high expectations as i already own 'Second Light' Unfortunately this album already contains some of the better tracks from the other album. Those that are left don't compare as well in my opinion. Some are rather repetetive and are not the sort of tracks you would consciously listen to but are better as "wallpaper" music as my Dad would say. There is the odd stonking track in there though. I think this album is worth buying, it is not bad, but i was expecting something of the same quality as 'Second Light' and i felt a bit let down when i didn't get that.
