Seven Lives Many Facesyet again another great album from Enigma,awsome cd a few riffs from the past and some great new stuff as well ,head phones a must,fav tracks 4and 9 but all great .

Have just found this CD in my loft after being lost during the last house move. So happy to see it i nearly cried. Like being reunited with a long lost friend. Agree with the reviewers here (not Amazon)- this album can be many things to many people so long as you are not offended by the mix of hymns and sensual (at times sexual) beat / sounds. The work can function as background music while you work or socialise; or alternatively be the backdrop to chilling or meditating. It even gives the HiFi a work out at the same time!

This is by far Enigma's best album! One track after another simply amazing! Cretu on vocals superb!

Following on from the debut album 'MCMXC aD', this follow up showcases Michael Cretu's exploration of musical styles from around the world. This album expands on it's predecessor and in some places is all the better for it. However I don't feel it quite reaches the same pinnacle as 'MCMXC aD'. Why? Well, take 'Return to Innocence' a brillant track marred by MC's (?) North American Native Indian style chants. With 'I Love You..I'll Kill You', a beautiful sultry number that starts and ends well but is spoiled with a straight out of the 70s cheesy guitar solo sandwiched in between. This is perfect for those long night drives. Three years later, its still a staggeringly good CD that you just dont get bored of. A Massive artistic achievement, in a class of its own.

this has to be one of the best Enigma CDs ever .chill out music with the one you love .......a glass of wine ...what more !!

Well for me Voyageur is brilliant and original Enigma at its best! As with all the previous albums you need to listen to it for a while to get the best from it. It still has the same chill-out properties albeit in a slight departure from the previous Engima signature. It is one of my most listened-to albums. Superb stuff hence the 5 stars.

Enigma is French so its not surprising ive not a clue what some of the saying mean but that doesnt matter. Enigma is a legend in mysteries and tribal weird dreamy music. A matter fact first track is scary but sounds excellent chatting sounds vocal of the heavens. Enigma combines even erotic romance into the flava of their music they are masters in creating such underground amazing experience for all types. ENIGMA WHAT A DISCOVERE GET ALL ENIGMA!

I am a little perplexed by the Amazon Reviewer on a number of issues. Firstly, I presume the reviewer means "Push the Limits" not "Push Out the Limits." Hardly bodes well for a review if the reviewer can't even be bothered to pick up the CD case to check he (she) knows what he (she) is talking about! Secondly, as has already been mentioned, anything worth doing in music has already been done - nothing these days is even remotely original. Thirdly, it is deeply unfair, not mention wholly untrue, to describe ambient music as not having any "beat." There's plenty of rhythm and beat in Engima's music, this album included. This CD caught my eye sitting on a shelf as it has such a beautiful album sleeve. I picked it up purely because it looked good, bought it because of the nice cover. Now from past exerience I can say that impulse buys like this are generally regrettable, but I have not stopped listening to this CD since I got it. Easily my album of the year, it has everything and spans across so many types of moods and genres. It has the amazing ability to chill you out, get you worked up, uplift you and break your heart all at the same time. Now im generally not a fan of chillout music, I can't concentrate long enough and get bored!
