i have bought all of the ramazzotti cds and E2 is exceptionally brilliant. The DVD is an added bonus because he is pure sex on legs, how can an amazingly handome guy sing as well as he looks.His voice is incredible, when you listen to the cd you can imagine being on holiday at your favourite trendy italian beach side bar but with the added bonus of hearing and seeing this very talented singer.I assure you that you will not be disappointed in buying this cd/dvd, it is fantastic, makes great listening and what more can i say...truly amazing!!...

I first watched Eros 'Live in Rome' with trepidation. From revues here. We are in our sixties! A brilliant concert, wish I could have been their. Bought a CD of his not realising it was the same sound track. Delighted that I have the best of both worlds with Eros. Have bought more of his CD's since then and have not been disappointed, only hope we see him again soon on DVD. A great entertainer. Also loved him on 'Pavarotti & Friends'. Cannot understand a word he sings but now beginning to sing along.

This is the album which broke Eros Ramazzotti out of the niche latin market onto the worldwide stage; "Piu Bella Cosa" even got several airplays in the UK! A rich, meticulously-crafted oeuvre, it also marks the artist's newly-acquired control over all production values, and it shows throughout. From the opening driving chords of "Dove 'ce Musica", the album swerves through merengue and salsa (but always with a contemporary feel; "Yo Sin Ti"), with the odd nod to techno/house. What really stands out, however, are the ballads ("Stella Gemella", "L'Aurora" are shining examples) which do most justice to the sheer quality of Ramazzotti's singing voice. I loved Dove Ce Musica, am entralled by Stilelibero, but this is the one which says it all about the vast scope of his talent. No song sounds the same as another and each one a gem. Fantastic!

Even if you thought that Dove c'e musica was the definitive Eros album, Stilelibero will impress you further. From L'ombra del Gigante sets a hard pace, perhaps harsh. From there on, you will find melodies and sentiments that only the Italian language can convey. Recommended.

I thought the ER9S album would be tough to follow, it started a new fresh chapter in Eros's music. Calma Apparente has continued that trend with fresher, younger sounds. Best tracks for me are "La Nostra Vita", "Solarita", "I Belong To You" (brilliant duet with Anastacia!!) "Una Nuova Età", "Non È Amore" and "Beata Solitudine". I'm sure I'll grow to like the others as well. Bravo Eros!! Until the next album!!

This is one of my favourite albums. Eros Ramazzotti is at the forefront of Italian pop music and this proves it. There are some great tunes, nice ballads, rocky and pop-py - definitely recommended (especially good if you're learning Italian!)

This CD is absolutely fabulous and I would reccomend everyone to have it is their collection. The tracks may not be new, but the true genius of Eros shines through each one of them and demonstrates his fantastic range of vocals and ability to sing in both spanish and english infront of a live audience of fans. The atmosphere of the the live concert is clearly displayed in this recording, where the listener is incorporated into the audience, if you close your eyes you can visualise yourself standing infront of the stage surrounded by screaming fans. Tina Turner and Joe Cocker who are guest vocalists also demonstrate their ability to sing before a live audience and sound better than ever. Eros Rammazzotti is an excelent performer. I have all of his CDs and have lvoed every one. The only problem is his early stuff is dating quite badly (understandably). However, although this CD is 11 years old its bearing up well to repeated playings, ie. I don't cringe when certain songs come on. Dolce Barbara and Cantico are my favourites- Eros is always good at a sweeping ballad. Can't understand a word but this album proves that good music is universal!
