If, like me, you're one of those people who was blown away by Felt Mountain but disappointed by what came after then Seventh Tree may give you cause to rejoice. Although a very different beast to FM this album shares the same quirky, sensual and exotic oddness as Goldfrapp's remarkable debut. The main difference between the two is mood - FM was frequently quite dark (and in the case of Deer Stop, downright creepy) but Seventh Tree is a long summer's day to Felt Moutain's eerie twilight. Goldfrapp obviously don't mind annoying their fans - having thoroughly cheesed-off many Felt Moutain lovers (including me) by going off in a wildly differnt direction for their next two albums they've now annoyed some of the fans of ... Goldfrapp. Well what can i say but this album is more dance like than the last and has some great songs on it,if you like something diffrent then this is for you! as well as haveing good indie dance song it has songs that go deeper than deep and seem to take you into another world. This album is a must and you will be hearing alot more of goldfrapp i can assure you.

Well thank goodness all that "Number 1" pap is well behind us, and the luscious, dirty and fantabulous Goldfrapp have went back to making decent records. Granted, they peaked a couple of years back, but this is still the sexiest record of the year so far. No idea why the dribble that is "Slide In (DFA remix) Edit" was allowed near a pressing plant, but maybe it ties in with the garbage from the "White Horse" video.

Fly Me Away is the forth single of Goldfrapp's stunning platinum selling third album, Supernature! This one is a bit different to the glam roack tunes of Ooh La La and Ride A White Horse. Instead it's more in the same vein as Number One-a lush, warm pop song. Alison's soft, whispery vocals drift along a dreamy soundscape of synths and electronic beats, coupled with simple but uplifting vocals. The single mix of the track is relatively similar to the album version. There are extra sounds added here and there and the track is shorter. Still worth a listen though.
