Taking its cues from a wide variety of genres while remaining steadfastly accessible and catchy, this is one of my all-time faves. More or less any track could have been picked off this album and it still would have been a hit - there's such little filler on it. It's quite remarkable to think how far Damon Albarn has come from those early Blur days. He's certainly done a lot better than one-time rivals the Gallaghers, who haven't yet twigged that you can't have a hit with the same song over and over again.

Being new to the scene a lot were expected of cartoon band Gorillaz and they delivered in a way which was unbelievable with this fantastic debut album. They came into the market having not a lot of success but were able to deliver in the form of their first single `Clint Eastwood' which reached number 4 in the UK charts but probably deserved higher with its cool style and interesting choice of lyrics. The songs are very different from your average rock band. Because their mode of address is very unusual it struck a cord with a wide range of people. I had a gamble with this CD and it turned out to be amazing! The remix CD is really good and if you can get this for a few quid on amazon I would highly recommend it. There are some brilliant hidden tracks and remixes! Buy it!!

This is a fantistic Cd and deserves to be bought. The only problem is that they put on two songs that they have on Gorillaz[UK]: '19-2000 (Soulchild Remyx/Remix)' and 'Rock The House'. Even though on the CD, they put put on a '(edit)' at the end, i think, that they just cut out a possible swear word. Despite these setbacks, all in all this is a great album.

...is what this album had us doing. We've only just discovered it and whacked in CD player and spent the rest of the night moon-walking to those chilled deep dubs and and other fab sounds. I'd even dare to say better than the original!

If you are a Gorillaz fan, this is a must buy. I reccomend the Deluxe Edition as it is far better than the average cd case and comes with badges, patch and exclusive artwork! Also it is a lot cheaper than on the high-street - HMV are selling this for 50 pounds!

They strike again as with Phase One (Celebrity Take Down) I love the art work of Jamie Hewlett, been a life long fan. I love the Music the collective called Gorillaz produce. I love the videos. So what's my beef? It's the navigation of the DVD, while it may seem cool to some to need a map (Map provided, I kid you not!) to navigate each chapter of the DVD I like to be able to just drop the DVD in and go straight to whichever Video, interveiw or live performance I want. Not have to pull the map out try and navigate with various buttons on my remote to try and find what I'm looking for. Art for Art's sake? Hence why I dropped two stars from an otherwise excellent DVD.

Shame there won't be any more from the Gorillaz, but at least it's another British band that went out on a high and really took a stand to make it all about the music, removing themselves even from the stage. Also much better than the first album which didn't really have much more meat round the bones once you'd heard the biggest three singles.

I'm not a big hip-hop fan, very selective about my music, and haven't been listening to much music for a few years now but heard this on that iPod commercial and tracked it down just so I could buy it. And their video just enforces how creative these guys are--such a welcome breath of fresh air from the boring vids of singers with jiggly girls dancing around. Yeh, I'm trying to see if there is a "dance mix" extended versions of Feel Good Inc. available.
