I went clubbing for the first time in a long time the other week which at my advanced years is probably disgraceful . Putting that aside I found most of the music played that evening dreadfully dull and repetitive and had reached the stage where I never wanted to hear another thudding dance track as long as I drew breath .Then Blind by Hercules And Love Affair came on. I hadn't heard it before but recognised Antony Hegarty,s voice straight away( I pointed this out to my mates who couldn't have been less interested if I had started talking about the trade deficit with China).
