I can only endorse what others have said - this is a great album from a great band. Their best album, in my opinion, even compared with the recent 'best of'. Buy it, you won't regret it! The standard of musicianship is amazing - how do three people fill the space so well, and with such obvious enjoyment. At the time of writing (September 2008) they have reformed and have just toured the UK playing small venues. They were excellent and proved to be genuine people, happy to talk and to sign CDs, etc.

Amazing stuff, Stephane Grapelli and Django meet Hank Williams! A modern take on 1940's Western Swing - really good, toe tapping, lively good mood music. An eye opener into the South Western state's melting pot - jazz, swing, bluegrass, blues, breakdown, honky-tonk, folksy and cajun all in one. A joy.

Great music, lively , fresh, zesty and upbeat. Just listen to the noise these 3 get out of one fiddle, one guitar and one slap bass. I didn't know this sort of music existed and now I've found it, I won't let go!

We were lucky enough to hear the trio in France, where they were on holiday. They entertained us with a 2 hour set and we were stunned - wow! They are currently on their way to Norway - lucky Norway! It is so refreshing to hear 'real music' from 3 people who really love to improvise and to entertain. This fourth album is a mixture of their 'swing' and 'hot jazz' styles and is a collection of originals and standards. Whit on guitar, Jake on double bass and 'Ellie' Elana on fiddle, make some memorable music and the three part harmonies are truly wonderful!
