Idiot Pilot have managed to break the boundaries of electronica and metal to create a refreshingly different album - the chord progressions are striking and exciting compared with the boring same-old that gets churned out by 99% of bands, and Chris Pennie's drumming is invigourating and rhythmically enticing. I just wish there were more bands out there doing the same.

...but oh, how naive i was. Seriously, i bought this album about 2 months ago and already ive played every track 26 times, the whole album has gone into my "Top 25 most played" section on iTunes.
How two teenagers (without trying to sound patronising) can produce such wonderfully beautiful music, i do not know. From the thrashing guitar chorus of "Violent Tango" to the sympathetic electronic beats of "Nightlife", Strange We Should Meet Here really does make you want to sit down at a computer and make music like this.
Play it to your friends, they'll love it, play it to your parents, they'll love it. The only people i dont recommend you playing it to is Radiohead...

To Buy a Gun is one of the finest tracks I've heard in a long time.
