Another CD of thouroughly enjoyable and ear-pleasing music. My personal favourite is 'The Wind in the Willows' which has some very funny choruses, together with Rutter's typical orchestration. Obviously obscure works, written with children's performances in mind, but well worth a listen. The only downside is having 6-7 movement works altogether on one track.

I first bought this album in about 1973 and I'm so glad to have found it on cd. It's brilliant and once you listen to it you'll play it over and over again...fantastic music.

You would think that a star such as John Holt would have had better things to do with his voice (and time) than to vocalise these appalling backing tracks. This cheap, bland casio keyboard sound is presumably aimed at the musically bereft...Don't waste your money.
