I really don't know why it's taken me so long to buy this album, this is without doubt Jon Bon Jovi's best solo CD. I don't think that I can add anything new that the other reviewers havn't already said because this really is a brilliant album. My favorite tracks are "Blaze Of Glory", "Billy Get Your Guns", "Dyin' Ain't Much Of A Living" and "Never Say Die". Don't wait for as long as I did, buy this incrediable rock gem today!

Ok first of all I'm a big Bon Jovi fan... and I'm a completist type of person I like to have everything by an artists thats why I bought it. What Can I say about it... its "Different" it a mish mash of songs in varying different styles that scream of what Joh has been waiting to do away from the Band.. They just wouldnt fit as Bon Jovi songs. I got it to further my collection...Cant say I'm knocked over by the songs at fist play but they deffinatly sound like they could be good as chill rock so im happy :D. In short..Ligherand happy/upbeat...different...but good.. but not GREAT!!!. :D enjoy.

This songs on this album were written from 1980-83, before Bon Jovi hit the big time. The songs are really touching and great to listen too. Deffinatly worth a buy for any Bon Jovi fan. The more you listen the more you love the album, it is slightly different to his 'big time' albums because its from his routes before he made it, but still its an awesome listen and a must have! Great album, buy it.

I bought this cd because I loved the other pavarotti & freinds cds I have. I thought it might have more screaming opera, but the cd contains a lovely mixture of pop music and a few classics. All my friends love the cd, and even my dads freinds too. And by buying it you help the childrens foundation Lucciano Pavarotti supports.

It sounds remarkably like Rod Stewart's Killing of Georgie but then I never heard a Jon Bon Jovi song that doesn't sound like something else! As they go this is pretty good.

However, instead I got Real Life. Now, don't get me wrong, its a nice enough song with a very pretty little video to go(not included on the single), but not really what I was expecting from one of the most famous Rock acts on the planet.
