Sheer brilliance, flowing against the tide of pop tripe the continualy fills the airways. If your a fan of acoustic guitar music, buy this album. Scrap that just buy this album, the only complaint you'll have is ...damn it's finished. At a shade over 30 min's it's short by modern standards. But don't feel short changed as every track is shimmering with mesmerizing beauty. The better your system the more wonderful detail you can extract. Jose plays with a passion that you can feel with each strum. He may not have earth shattering vocals, but they blend seemlessly and become part of of the whole experience - John Martin fans will appreciate this. I loved Jose's last album, Veneer, but this just stuns beyond reason. It might be a little difficult to believe that there was much more that could be done with his sound, given the amazing quality of the first album, but it has been done. This album has the same sort of sound as Veneer did and yet it is almost impossibleto get the two confused. In Our Nature feels a little more aggressive in style than Veneer, and feels more passionate. It is a truly mesmerising album and, in my opinion is the best of 2007, despitemany other fantastic albums (including Marion Raven's Set Me Free).

i absolutely love this,it's such a gorgeous song - its also a great song to go with a great advert - i recommend this to anyone - buy it buy it buy it!!!!!!

OK, so we all know (or at least we all SHOULD know) that this guy rips off Mark Kozelek wholesale but I'm not going to get into any "Why, in God's name weren't the Pixies and New Model Army on Top of the Pops?"-type argument here (see NME letters to the editor circa 1986 if you don't know what I'm talking about). Just enjoy this for what it is.

I first heard this song on Radio 1 a few months back. Zane Lowe played it and by the time it had finished i was a crying wreck on the floor!! This mans voice is unreal!! Then one day i flicked the tv on the find it was the soundtrack to a new tv advert, the one with all the bouncy balls going down the huge road in America! Even though i was angry they had used this lovely song for a stupid 30 second clip, i reliased why they had. They gentleness of the song matches perfectly with the motion of the advert. I recommend when you buy this single, to go into a darked room, lie on the ground, bed sofa where ever you can get 5 minutes to yourself - or with some one else! turn the cd on and just listen to it. The heartbeats remix is rubbish, and the instrumental is disappointing but every other song is unbelieveable. Filled with emotion, beauty, sensitivity and passion - these are just amazing. I would recommend this to anyone with a soul.
