Like everyone I know, I first heard Julio when on holiday and his voice, even many years later, brings a warm feeling whenever I play his CD and I confess that I play it more than any other single CD I own. Yes, some tracks work better for me than others but this is not just a greatest hits but an ultimate hits copllection. His voice envelopes everything, bringing smooth flowing sound that is pleasing even if you are not listening but rewarding if you are. This collection lifts him to the position of the number one European singer of romantic love songs. I don't have his other CDs - there is no point this is the collection to have. H

I got into Julio Iglesias a couple of years ago after being in Spain. This is the man at his romantic best. You want a recording for a candle light dinner for two ? ... this is it. Buy, you WONT be disappointed.

Julio has wonderfully compiled this album with care, and is one of his short but easy listening and calming tracks. I must admit that his combination of spanish and english titles works beautifully and compliment each other as one song flows into the other. These are all classics of course but to hear them all together is excellent. It would have been better if Julio added more songs to it, but these are the 10 most tracks that I liked that he put together, truly wonderful!!

Totally disagree with previous review. Enjoy this cd for what it is....romantic interpretations of classic Tango music. Don`t buy it if you are looking for strictempo dance music, although many of the songs are excellent for dancing. Julio sings with great passion , and captures the drama and romance of authentic Tango. This is a high production collection with top musicians combining with Julio to create the full Tango atmosphere. It`s closer in feeling to "Argentine" Tango rather than "Ballroom", but there are hundreds of strictempo Tango albums out there, and this cd gives an alternative version of this wonderful music .
