Once again Keane has failed to come up with the goods. After a fabulous first album and a disaster with Under the Iron Sea, Perfect Symmetry slips between the two with several tracks sounding like a second rate Killers tribute band. Why didn't they stick to the distinctive sound of Hopes and Fears instead of diluting their appeal by emulating the top Indie band.

Yeh, ain't great guys... what has made Keane so great are those incredible and original melodies, hooks, and massive delay piano lines that stick in your head... bar track 1 and track 6, there's not a lot that sticks in my head or that is making me want to come back for more... so although it's produced to the normal high standard, after 5 back to back listens, I'm sorely disappointed. it's just average. Hope they sort it out for number 4... ;)

mmmm.....I enjoyed the first album Hopes And Fears, especially the top class singles. There were a few so-so songs on there, but the majority of the album was a pleasurable listen. This album doesn't do anything for me whatsoever. It's too wet. Some of the songs are cringey (oh Crystal Ball, Crystal Ball - dreadful) and some songs just don't go anywhere. They even try a Low-era Bowiesque song, which just doesn't work. Unfortunately, my negative response to this album has stopped me listening to Keane (including the first album) altogether. Time to bring in a couple of Guitar players me thinks!!!!

Are Snow Patrol too hard-rocking and uncompromising for you? Is Tom Baxter just too damn original and heartfelt? Then try Keane! Perfect for when you can't sleep! I know... I'm mean. I don't hate this stuff. But that's the point... it's so WET. When did people like this get to masquerade as rock musicians? It's bad for you. Your children will grow up thinking this is what a rock band sounds like. Zeppelin who? no, I wanna listen to the guys who go "waaa.. waa... I'm sad and feeble..." When there's the likes of Gutter Twins, Aquila, Rufus Wainwright and The Veils out there barely making a dent, you should not be spending your money and valuable time on this.

Can't get this to play on my region A Playstation 3 It plays the advert bit no menu comes up. It plays on other Blu-ray players (Yamaha,Lg) It's on of the best concert films i have ever seen.Higly recommended ! You don't have to be a Keane fan to enjoy this.

Why hasn't anyone rated this album when Hopes & Fears has hundreds of ratings? If you liked Hopes and Fears you probably have this one and you already know that its even better. Hard to believe I know. If you haven't got this album in your collection then you are missing out on a really great album. I must have listened to it 100 times over the past year and it never fails to please.
