Well its what happens when you say to your daughter that you are bored with your record collection. Here Dad try this she said putting Kid Rock into my hands. Well I am impressed. There are some great riffs on this album and a real mixture of rock/country styles. In some ways it is a mature sound and the country feel is not disimilar to a theme in Bon Jovi's, Lost Highway album. It kicks off with a real foot tapper in Rock and Roll Jesus, and Amen is thought provoking to say the least. I am not overly impressed with the sentiments and language in some tracks as noted in other reviews. But like a lot of British TV and music if you removed F**k and, oh my God, from the majority of shows they couldn't string many sentences together (try it with ... Read More:

Every year round summer time there will be certain records you just hear everywhere that you can't help but like. Kid Rock's All Summer Long is one of those songs. Catchy as hell, well produced and with some genius use of samples it's no surprise this song has leapt to the number 1 spot on the UK charts.

One thing I really like about this song is that generally stations like Radio 1 tend to stray away from American Rock of this kind but faced with the song's overwhelming popularity on downloads and TV, they have playlisted the song and are now playing it all the time. It just throws a bit of diversity into the UK charts and for that I am grateful. All in all, it's a good solid tune that pushes all ... Read More:

No other artist could come close to touching this album. Kid mixes so many genres together to make this album tantelizing and unique!. I bought this album a few years ago and to this day its novelty still hasn't worn off. Not only is it special in a way it's compelling in its origionality, but it is also warming to know that this album helped, if not revolutionised rock and rap by itself. This album stands out far beyond his other albums and prokes so many emotions in a wide range of songs. I strongly advise purchasing this album if you have found albums such as cocky, history of Rock or Kid rock or any of his previous albums appealing.
It is an album which is full of heart and soul, and it should go down as one of the all time greats!. YOU'LL LOVE ... Read More:

This album is certainly not one of the Kid's best efforts. After the sucess of the Devil Without a Cause album, it seems something deserted him here. I like Kid Rock but this album isn't his best. The only tracks I really liked were American Bad Ass, Early Morning Stoned Pimp and 3 Sheets to the Wind, the rest of the album isn't very good, and I would recommend leaving this be and getting his first album or his more recent album Cocky instead.

Well, he's back! RIP to little man Joe C. This album is dedicated to the memory of Joe C, and Kid Rock mentions him in the first track Trucker Anthem. I think he expresses a lot of points in this album, things he done, said, been through, some of which is anger. As you listen to the album you will feel the hardcore guitar and pumping bass, especially when you decide to put it in your car stereo. It's all cocky, til you hit Picture. You hear something different, making sure its the right cd in the machine, man you hear that Kid Rock can sing and does he do it well, cocky enough he does. Country music maybe his next journey, because this is one album worth buying.

As a fan, I've been listening to Kid Rock for years, from grit sandwiches for breakfast, as I have aged I have gone off the heavier music and too much hip hop and listened to much more southern (ish) rock n roll. Every one of Kid Rock's albums has followed the trend- less heavy less hip hop- but well crafted songs, talented musicians and arrangements.
This latest album is my favourite yet, covering southern rock, rock, gospel, blues and more. Not a bad track on the whole thing! If you like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Drive by Truckers, Allman Brothers, Bob Seger, or the old Kid Rock stuff buy this album.

Kind of a greatest hits CD i suppose, but live! Unlike live albums ive heard in the past, its not just the fans cheering over the top of the cd version of the song. This album ranks up there with KISS - Alive. Features the late great Joe C, and former Kid Rock DJ Uncle Kracker, along with Paradime and the red neck woman that is Miss Gretchen Wilson. Not only is it the only live album thats been released in ages, its a dam good one at that too! Coming from a fan of Aerosmith, Gun's N Roses, Kiss and so on, i would highlighy recommend it!

This album is in my opinion the best from Kid Rock yet. Whilst his first three mainstream albums; 'Devil Without A Cause', 'The History Of Rock' and 'Cocky', were each wonderful in their own right, this album has seen Kid Rock take a big right turn in the maturity of his music. This album sees far less of his rap/hip hop roots (although strong evidence of this still remains in the track titled 'Intro' which curiously isn't at the start of the album, but rather half way through it), and focuses much more the rock and country aspects of his unique style, most siginificantly made evident by his collaborations with Hank Williams, Jr. and Sheryl Crow on the album. This isn't to say that there isn't a 'heavy' aspect to this album. 'Jackson Mississippi' is a significantly ... Read More:
