some people have panned this album but i think its produced some of the best kylie songs ever e.g wow, in my arms, nudity and sensitized. buy this album and enjoy kylie the next queen of pop! :)

If you want the collection of Kylie's hit singles, this is the CD for you. If you're looking for every single one of Kylie's releases then some are definitely missing from here, not that it matters to me anyway, this is a fact of Greatest Hit compilations. "Ultimate Kylie" is a lovely shiny collection of Kylie's songs that will be forever loved by her fans and pop music lovers. Only bad tracks in my opinion are "Tears On My Pillow", "Give Me Just A Little More Time" (Disc One) and "Chocolate" on Disc Two. If you haven't heard and loved "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" you must be nuts.

I first bought this CD just after seeing Kylie Live in January 2007. My first live concert ever. I'd seen parts of the original showgirl concert before, but never expected the show to be as good as what it actually was. The sheer excitement in the arena was amazing, and you can actually feel that on this live album. The thunderous applaud at the beginning is just like the standing ovation Kylie recieved at the actual show I attended, before bursting into Better The Devil You Know. Never since have I seen a standing ovation in a concert. Her voice is crisp and strong on this tour, miles better than the Showgirl Tour, infact it's sort of like on the Fever Tour, for anybody reading this who has bought that DVD. We all know that "WOW" is amazing, but im sure the only reason for purchasing this is for the b-side, the karen poole penned, "Cherry Bomb." Its the type of song that sounds good, but you forget the tune of it WHILE YOU ARE LISTENING TO IT. But def. a worthy purchase for hardcore fans.

This album is in a class of its own, It was incredibly ahead of its time and i'v heard it so many times but it always sounds so fresh. It reflects a period in the early 90's pre sept 11th when their was an air of optimism, a whole generation of young people exited about the change ofthe century.
