I went clubbing for the first time in a long time the other week which at my advanced years is probably disgraceful . Putting that aside I found most of the music played that evening dreadfully dull and repetitive and had reached the stage where I never wanted to hear another thudding dance track as long as I drew breath .Then Blind by Hercules And Love Affair came on. I hadn't heard it before but recognised Antony Hegarty,s voice straight away( I pointed this out to my mates who couldn't have been less interested if I had started talking about the trade deficit with China). Last Tango in Bradford is by no means Steve Ellis' last gig. Pure enjoyment. His voice never looses its amazing power, sensuality and all the feelings that lyrics command. All these years down the road and here is the best and most underrated singer this country (and beyond!) has ever produced still delivering big time. A must have.

Beautiful CD but of course you know that the climax is the gorgeous ' Everlasting Love. Yes this album includes the heart felt love song. Everlasting love could not possibly be covered and be as good as love affairs version. No one can beat the original and in this case the statement is most definately true. You need to buy the Cd to see the one of the best examples of sweet love of the 20th Centuary
