Having generally skipped most of her albums since "Ray of Light" the 'new' image and musical direction shown on "4 Minutes" did little to make me want to buy this on initial release. However as a fan of older style Maddie tracks "Give It To Me" and the less dated "Miles Away" tipped the balance in the end. The problem wth an album like this is it isn't going to impress genuine R'N'B or Rap fans, and neither is it going to satisfy the fans who want a follow-up to the dance-pop of "Confessions". So give her her due, she decided to straddle the genres and see what happened! Michael Jackson helped out alot on this album by designing a new CD lacquoring process. This made it possible for him to give his free copies of this album back to Madonna without her seeming to notice. Of course Madonna being a bit wise and very old didn't really know what CDs are and now always looks confused. The 'immaculation collection' actually refers to the immaculate homogenised grey appearance of collected belly button fluff despite it originating from garments of differing colouration.

simply beautiful and rythmetic...it demands way more than the 100 listens that you most certainly will give it. Hard Candy has indeed become an instant success this year with 3.5 million(!) shipments out of the past 6 months...it is really no surprise considering the standard of the tracks on the album. Miles Away can only improve and maintain the album sales, as it is a true gem of a song that really invites you in to look deeper behind the lyrics and enchants you with its styalized pace and awe-inspiring beat...this is as pure Madonna gets. 4 Minutes,Gite It 2 Me and now Miles Away...each single as superb as the last and each one symbolises the true sharp uniqueness of Madge herself. From the first minute to the very last tone this DVD is amazing. The Greatest Concert Madonna ever had. Perfect Sound, Visual effects, Vocals, Coreography, Arena. Madonnaf*...licious Message!

GHV2 sums up Madonna's singles from 1992 to 2001 from Erotica, Bedtime Stories the Evita soundtrack, Ray of Light, Beautiful Stranger and Music. What I like about the album is it's artwork and the jumbled track listing. What I didn't like about the album is the editing of quite a lot of tracks. However, not all the singles are here and there's no new music either but if you're a Madonna fan who's enjoyed the hits from the 1990s, then this is a good start before you venture further with the albums.

How amazing! How out there! How fab is the ever reinventive Mrs Ritchie? Well, actually no, she is none of these things!! She of the Minnie Mouse vocal chords and limited musical talent (if she has any at all, lets face it!) has discovered that 20 years after the fact the general public have forgotten late 1970s Italian disco producer Girogio Moroder and so the exploitative witch beautiffully rips him and we the masses right off - AGAIN! The Empress' new clothes horse is also all Eastern Mystic here, how quaint? Quite gross really! 'cos you know she don't mean it! Someone put this manipulative old cow to sleep, please!

Possibly some of Britneys finest work on this album. Every track bar 3, on this record has massive single potential. Toxic, a Grammy award winning Uk #1 single, written by Cathy Dennis, will go down in history as one of the most infectious songs in the world of pop. Me Against the Music, will always be remembered as one of the biggest collaborations in the history of pop music, seeing the Queen of pop Madonna teaming up with Britney, the Princess of pop. And we have everytime, another #1 in the UK, and a raw example of how stunning Britney's voice is when stripped back. You have to hand it to Madonna, she's a marketing genius! Proving once again that what you lose on the swings you gain on the round-a-bouts, this "Girlie Show" inspired maxi-single serves up 8 mouth-wateringly delicious remixes, all of which re-interpret the pomp and pageantry of "Give It To Me" in a completely different way! You would be hard-pushed not to find something to your liking here! Detractors will find fault, of course, but you don't last 25 years in the harsh music industry without learning a thing or two about how to please your audience and corner the market! An astute business move indeed!
