I love the original version of Madonna's hit "Music", but the remixes are awesome too. The good thing about this single is that there are no looong remixes, all are perfect for listening at home or in your car. Personally, I love the Groove Armada's 7" Edit - especially the beginning - it's the most interesting mix here !

Well,they might as well,who else will?? with this single,world domination is guaranteed.Its the beat that does it. The minute I heard this,I was up and hopping. Amazing tune,the trumpets are as funky as they come,and Timbaland's voice is a treat.The timing is exceptional,and even the possibly cheesy lyrics are encased in a thrilling pumping hip hop delicacy. Buy it, buy it! You have four minutes to do so..

I am a big fan of Madonna but, I must admit this song grew tired on me. Then I bought the single and it was well worth it! But only for the 'Silky Soul Mix'. This mix breaths new life into "Take a Bow", which is a beautiful song but, a little too Celine Dion-ish. This mix puts the Madonna back into "Take a Bow" and completely washes away any sign of Celine!

To properly appreciate this song one must put themselves into the shoes of someone around in 1983. The song is VERY 80s and, frankly, wouldn't stand up to much today. The sound is very tinny and dancy, very much the sound of early Madonna recordings and her vocals are very stretched and high (another typical aspect of early Madonna work) yet the song is so carefree and bouncy that you can't help but enjoy it, with it's happy happy joy joy chorus ("Everybody, come on, dance and sing. Everybody, get up and do your thing") and it's basic 80s synth work it is very much an enjoyable song of the time, but definatley not of the calibre that one would predict a 21 year career off. This CD is one of very few Madonna CDs to not feature her image on the front ... Read More:

This is the cd that i also bought with "Borderline" and features more of jellybean's mixing talent. Track one is the 12" Formal mix (6:15) and it begins like "blue monday" and this remix makes (at least to me) a major difference in sound . It doesn't sound as dated as the original version. It improves on the groove and therefore is better.Second track is the Casual instrumental mix(4:36) and sounds like track 1 but no madonna on it. Track 3 is the lp version of "shoo bee doo" that is one of madonna's best songs ever (in my opinion).

Oh dear, how disappointing is how to start the review for this dvd. Although it does have a smattering of rare and new footage the overall packaging is amateur and very disappointing to say the least. The images are not full screen and appear instead as if on a cartoon television within your own tv screen, making the images quite small and at times hard to view. Next worthy of a mention is the highly irritating "musical" soundtrack (I use the term musical very loosely here). It's like an 80's dodgy keyboard player knocking out a repetitive tune over and over and over and very loudly at times. It makes the keyboard players off the old french and saunders programme sound talented. It constantly blares over the "hire an unpaid extra" woman to talk madonna ... Read More:
