Any lady popstrel, be they Geri Halliwell or Gina G, will have their record compared, (usually unfavourably) to 'La Isla Bonita' if they incorporate spanish guitars in their record. Originally offered to Michael Jackson, Madonna has made this song one of her signature anthems. Performed on four separate tours, and with 'Holiday' it was one of only two old songs on the Drowned World Tour, it is probably better-loved than any Madonna song since 'Vogue'. Unlike so much 80s pop, Madonna's records have generally aged very well. The third and final in her run of No 1 singles from her most successful LP 'True Blue', this is just a classic. Pure class.

You have to hand it to Madonna, she's a marketing genius! Proving once again that what you lose on the swings you gain on the round-a-bouts, this "Girlie Show" inspired maxi-single serves up 8 mouth-wateringly delicious remixes, all of which re-interpret the pomp and pageantry of "Give It To Me" in a completely different way! You would be hard-pushed not to find something to your liking here! Detractors will find fault, of course, but you don't last 25 years in the harsh music industry without learning a thing or two about how to please your audience and corner the market! An astute business move indeed!

The Music album is excellent. When I heard the song 'Music' for the first time I was immediately attracted. I was already a Madonna fan, but only owned, at the time, 1 of her albums: Ray Of Light. That was amazing so I had to buy this album. I was going to buy the regular edition but I realized they carried this very limited edition. It was presented in a hessian book pack with a 'Music' logo stamped on the front of the CD, intact with 2 stickers and a 24 paged booklet. The original booklet only contains 14 pages, so this booklet contains 10 pages more. I do not have the regular edition myself, however, my friend does so I know of this. I own all 4 colours and you should collect them all. They will soon become one of the most greatest packagings ... Read More:

After releasing the bedtime stories album it was time for Madonna to hit back at the people who had tried to humiliate her during her sex book days. The message was very clear in this song - Madonna would not be messed with!, Clearly as the lyrics suggest madonna got her own back! A good single, however the original version is available on the bedtime stories album and is better than the remix on the single - the u.k single of this song didn't include the original so bye both! rating 10 out of 10!
