The song with it's dark opening about madonna's past and about her duaghter, jumps Straight into an huge dance banging thumping beat, one of madonna's best dance tunes since the single RAY OF LIGHT This version of the single comes in a digi pack and is an ep version u.s.a maxi single, with some excellent mixes (9 in total) a good collecters item for any madonna fan, as only a limited amount are made. Rating 10 out of 10

3 stars for original mix only! The remixes on this single are so disappointing. Really - did she not listen to them? In fact, they are the worst remixes I have ever heard. Madonna mixes can be hit and miss, but at their best give new definitions to her singles. For example the extended version of 'Hung Up' was superb, Pet Shop Boys mix of 'Sorry' and the Groove Armada and Deep Dish remixes of 'Music'were all a fresh,exciting take on great dance tunes. But here they have taken a geat ambient textured dance song and stripped it down to random, mostly highly irritating, bleeps! Let's hope more is made of 'Jump' - the final and nearly the best single on the album!

Although I like Madonna and regard her as a tru icon, I'm not a huge super-fan. Having bought most of her more recent albums, I decided it was time to buy "American Life." I had an idea of what the album was like from hearing samples online, but hearing it right through in one sitting made me love it. Musically, it's quite an experimentation for Madonna, especially considering the albums that preceded it ("Ray of Light" and "Music"). It's a strange, yet completely listenable mix of Folky/Acoustic sounds with cold Electropop. Not two genres one would readily join together, but here it just... works. Madonna's vocals seem strong and confident (and downright pleasant to listen to) and there are some nice touches with computerised effects ... Read More:

There are some really cool mixes on here of Love Profusion and Nobody Knows Me! Tracks: Love Profusion (Album Version & Ralph Rarosi House Vocal Mix) & Nobody Knows Me (Above & Beyond 12" Club Mix). So overall this singles pretty cool! Ralph Rarosi provides an excellent house mix and Above & Beyond are back! (Remember the 12" Club Mix they did for What It Feels Like For A Girl)???
