need i say more...a legendary album and it was the first album of hers i purchased(nearly 10 years ago)and it really got me into her music. all tracks are 10/10 it is fantastic along with-true blue,like a prayer,hard candy,Confessions,American Life,and the amazing erotica...:) love this album!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is definitely better than Ray of Light and is a stunning album to listen to,a fabulous all rounder. True Blue was her best album(with like a prayer)but Music is my all time favourite album and tops my list 10*/10 a sheer classic. This is a dance classic not as good as sorry but still very good single remix is ok b-side very bad but not the good bad jump is taken from the album confessions on a dance floor 10/10 must buy! got to #9 in the uk charts!

Wow. We've waited so, so long for a sequal to the very immaculate, 'Immaculate Collection', which is possibly the finest collection of tracks Madonna has ever performed. So GHV2 has landed. Great. But, nothing's perfect. And I'll start with the downs... There're a few 'What's going on there...?' thoughts that crop into my head, such as why were some of Madonna's 'Greatest Hits' of the 90's and 00's not actually on the 'Greatest Hits'... by which I mean 'Rain' (no. 1 in Canada), 'This Used To Be My Playground' (no. 1 in USA), 'American Pie' (not exactly loved by the critics, but still, no. 1 in the UK), 'I'll Remember' and 'You'll See'? The single for 'Bad Girl' had some quite quality mixes on the single. There are 6 mixes all together and might I add... The edit and extended version (bad girl) & the murk boys' mixes (fever) are fantastic!!! Of course the Hot Sweat 12" and the 12" extended (album version extended, not edit one or the video edit) are also fabolous but maybe not as good as the other 4 on the disc, especially the murk boys' mixes of Fever!!

Although I like Madonna and regard her as a tru icon, I'm not a huge super-fan. Having bought most of her more recent albums, I decided it was time to buy "American Life." I had an idea of what the album was like from hearing samples online, but hearing it right through in one sitting made me love it. Musically, it's quite an experimentation for Madonna, especially considering the albums that preceded it ("Ray of Light" and "Music"). It's a strange, yet completely listenable mix of Folky/Acoustic sounds with cold Electropop. Not two genres one would readily join together, but here it just... works. From her best album since Ray of Light!! Sorry is an amazing song...though lyrically it is not that special, it is a very high quality song! My particular favourite part is the repeating of "I heard it all before" & "Sorry"...maybe its because it reminds me of the video, which is also pretty damn good itself!! Along with the radio version of the song, comes a bunch of excellent remixes. They're all soo good, but the Green Velvet Remix lacks the quality of the other 3 remixes. The Man With Guitar, PSB and Paul Oakenfold Remixes are just AMAZING! This single is definitely worth buying...!!!!!!

Madonna comes back with another pop smash hit from her "Music" album. The song is perfect and very emotional - the tune is sweet and the lyrics are meaningful. This US Maxi-Single comes with a package of excellent dance re-mixes - something Madonna's always been good at - and a Spanish version of the song, which has never appeared on UK release. If you don't like the album version of the song, then get the CD just because of the Above & Beyond Club mix which is fantastic! EnJoy! Adam.
