The feverent sound of Matthew Bellamy echoes in this beautifully crafted single. Muse have come leaps and bounds and it is seen in what is possibly the best single on their debut album ' Showbiz'. Muscle Museum represents the bands desire to reach for the top and the determination is well emphasised in the strained voice of Bellamy, well presented with a tad of latin sound. A must buy song for any music fan.

I was speechless when I heard Time Is Running Out. It is such an amazing song with incredible musicianship that keeps at a very high standard throughout the duration of the song. I was even more speechless when I heard The Groove, probably the best B side that Muse have ever released. Once the song kicks in, you'll start playing the air guitar guaranteed, it's that catchy!Also included is the Stockholm Syndrome video, which is very low budget, but very poignant at the same time. If you're a Muse fan and you don't already own this, GET IT NOW!!!

Just check out the clean guzzling bass line on Muscle Museum. The song sets up the perfect suburbian distopia and turns into nothing short of the perfect pop rock single when Matt's voice melts into a suspended guitar solo. Elsewhere theres the title track Showbiz, an epic of enclosing tension and Cave a similar epic flooding with teenage anxt. The back end of this record reveals more wonderfully rounded heavy yet alternative rock songs. The lyrics are spot on all the way through especially in Escape and Overdue. Devons finest serve up yet another fantastic couple of songs with this single. Deadstar is an excellent song with Matt trying out a strange style of slurred singing against powerful guitar riffs and a driving bassline. In Your World begins with a beautiful piece of a piano before changing to a thumping guitar driven anthem. It's impossible to comprehend the absence of these songs from one of muse's studio albums (only appearing as live tracks on the hullabaloo dvd and cd). The one dissapointing thing about this cd was the fact that the live versions of the songs included on it are infact the same ones available on the hullabaloo soundtrack live album which many muse fans will already have.
