"You could have ruled the whole world if you had the chance..." One could say Matt is writing this about his own life, depicting someone who had the chance to have a relationship with him but "blew it away." The song opens with a weird (but typically Muse-like) guitar effect that opens into a much gentler tango-like beat. The song flows from smooth melodic verses to a much heavier and emotional chorus. A fantastic track that displays such talent that one wouldn't expect it to be on a debut album, simply superb!
