Music : Elyria
This is one of my all-time favourite albums - a beautiful mix of everything from folk to gothic rock and back again. Faith and the Muse never cease to impress me with their talent and versatility. Wonderful to listen to with the lights out after a bad day - I can't wait for their newest album!

The best song of 2006 from the best album of 2006 by the best group in 2006 and the best live act of 2006.
A completely over the top spaghetti western theme of a tune from galloping horses to lazers to crashing guitars. It is total madness that if you think it through should never work, but Muse get it to work in a way that no other group around at the moment are able to.
If you think the song is over the top - watch the video!!!!

This is not their best album, worth listening to, definitely. I would urge you to buy it but if it's a choice of different muse albums go for Black Holes and Revelations. Very good lyrics and the songwriting is upto scratch as usual. Still very good.

This is very disapppointing. When this was advertised it contained no information as to content, but it was issued as new. Therefore, you assumed it was not something offered before. However, judging on content, the DVD is exactly the same material as Manic Depressive which is advertised under DVDs. The set consists of one audio cd containing a collection of radio interviews, only one of which is recent being just before the issue of Black Holes and Revelations. The DVD is I think exactly the same as the Manic Depressive dvd stopping at the Absolution tour. There is no music. The dvd consists of interviews with music journalists, a producer and an ex guitar techician who was only with them in the early days. If you know the albums, and have read ... Read More:

The rise of female indie artists continues as Jamie Benson (the ex-lead singer of girl band "Hepburn") returns to the charts with an outstanding debut single. Sounding like one of Natalie Imbruglia's more melodic indie tunes with a killer chorus and the attitude of Alanis and PJ Harvey rolled into 1. Invincible was written by Bryan Adams and was originally penned for Emma Bunton, but she just wouldn't have done it justice, luckily for us, Jamie has. Can't wait to hear the album.

Just check out the clean guzzling bass line on Muscle Museum. The song sets up the perfect suburbian distopia and turns into nothing short of the perfect pop rock single when Matt's voice melts into a suspended guitar solo.

Elsewhere theres the title track Showbiz, an epic of enclosing tension and Cave a similar epic flooding with teenage anxt.

The back end of this record reveals more wonderfully rounded heavy yet alternative rock songs. The lyrics are spot on all the way through especially in Escape and Overdue.

Theres a lush little acoustic ballad too in Unintended, so good they still sing it on tour.

This is where Muse started off, with a CD just as good as all the others, sure the songs might ... Read More:

Well, this song is obviously fantastic. It's by Muse after all. The chorus is nice and mean, but I think it's pretty funny. They have the amazing ability to shock me when I least expect it. The fairly normal chorus of 'I don't want you and I never will' made me laugh, but as it approached the end, he came out with 'I don't love you and I never will', this shouldn't matter, but it makes me feel like there's more to the song than I at first thought, and it seems truly cruel. Excellent bass, catchy riff, pounding drums and stabbing vocals. Shouldn't be missed by anyone.
