which is why we see them so often here, but if anything this offering is even more Cuban in feel than 'A lo cubano'. ?Que Pasa? is typical: --Que es lo que pasa --En mi barrio --Eh, psss tu asere --Mi gente me escucha [in the Royal Albert Hall, I guess] There's less scratching than on the previous album and there are fewer immediately catchy grooves - oh, and once or twice the rapping sounds like Snoop Dogg - but this makes for a more rounded record with some fine musicianship. My copy got knicked last week, but it's some sort of recommendation that I'm going to fork out for it again.

I discovered this album a little late, about a year ago but it has affected me in a way that few albums ever have. On my first few listens I thought there were some killer tracks and the album as a whole was good but the more I have listened to it, every track has grown on me. One reviewer described this as the 'perfect chill out album' and I couldn't agree less, every part of this album from the infectious beats to the soulful singing and the powerful rap wakes up every part of me and makes me grin from ear to ear. I don't speak Spanish, so I don't understand what they are singing about, but when the music is this good, who cares! Undoubtedly the most experimental Hip Hop album in my collection. If you like Hip Hop you'll definitely love this album.
