it's ridiculous how much this album is slated. People seem unable to appreciate OutKast without comparing this to their old work. The fact is that they managed to combine hiphop with a range of musical styles AND IT WORKS. There's no need to give examples, cos cases can be made for all the songs. Admittedly there are songs which seem to be dwarfed by the rest, but that just shows the strength of the other songs.
people say they gave this album one listen and couldn't do it again. their loss. Speakerboxxx/Love Below takes a few listens to fully appreciate, but once you do, you won't regret it

Without experimentation where would we be? It's not ATLiens but it's not supposed to be. They showed they could chill us out and take us to that higher place, now they've shown us they can make us move. I'd say its the perfect balance of social comment, funk, spiritualism and everything else that makes music great. The best track has got to be Humble Mumble (shame Erykah Badu only seems to not be annoying when she's backing someone up, another example being 'Baby You got Me - The Roots'.
All in all a shit hot album...Different...But hot.

this album is fantastic it sounds like an album that came out this year, it doesnt sound like it was released in 1998 at all. the lyrics and rapping is just first class, the rap these days is just not worth listening to

this album will never be forgotten in hip hop history

i reccomend this album to any rap fan

this is outkasts best album in my opinion. they have a more mature laid back tone and spacey beats

this is also an album you listen to from start to finish without touching it

In Idlewild Outkast seem to lose all essence of what they really can do: excellent songwriting and catchy beats. This album is so obviously a film soundtrack, with irritating country tracks and coutless interludes. It is a shame there are so few collaberations between Dre and Big Boi on this one because I think thats how they do it best. This albums a real dissapointment when you think of Outkasts earlier albums like Stankonia and Big Boi and Dre Present. Not worth buying, if you ask me!

outkast have come out of nowhere, they just missed out on entering the charts with this as an import single. ms.jackson is a song that will appeal to all, you dont have to be a rap or an r"n"b fan to like this single with a catchy beat.this tune will stick in your head for days, and it is not offensive.hopefully this single will bring outkast their first uk no.1.

Outkast has been out there for a while. It was trhough their hits 'Ms. Jackson' and 'Whole Wolrd' that they gained more attention from the mainstream.

This album gives you these 2 tracks plus a 'best of' of their previous work. I own all their albums and have been a huge fan since their ATLiens album.

If outkast just started to get your attention buy this album. All tracks are dope. Absolute stand-out classics are:
- Rosa Parks
- Aquimini
- Elevators
- Git Up, Git Out

I also like their new material (Speakerboxx and Idlewild), but it doesn't compare to their older work. Buy this one!

Anyone who can use lyrics like this and make it sound cool deserves some kind of medal!
Yet again, the very talented (even if slightly bizzare) Outkast make one of the best and most successful tunes of the year.
Im ashamed to admit that when i first heard this song my imediate reaction was 'oh god, what a load of rubbish'! but like everyone else, i became hooked on the irresistably catchy beat, genius lyrics and hilarious dances that only Outkast could pull off with such style.
This is guaranteed to fill a dancefloor in the clubs, and fill your head for days, so go buy it, get out those afro's, the bright clothes and get ready to shake that booty!
