After eagerly ripping open the wrapping of the CD on the day I bought it, I listened and my foot couldn't stop tapping! Then my whole body joined in - I got so carried away with "She Bangs", whirling around the round, that I pulled a muscle in my back. I spent the whole weekend flat on my back. Thanks a LOT, Ricky! I've been into Ricky Martin since 1999 and own most of his albums in both Spanish and English. This DVD showcases him perfectly. Filmed on home ground in San Juan, Ricky gives an amazing show. The songs are brilliant with some interesting new arrangements, the light show - especially in the Rave part of the show - is great, the videoscreens are interesting and in the case of the Rebirth/tattoo section will make every female fan scream! It doesn't really matter in the end whether you understand every single word of the Spanish songs or not because during the uptempo numbers you'll be too busy dancing around your living room! If you're a Ricky Martin fan, you simply HAVE to have this DVD!

As soon as I put this CD on, I couldn't help but move to the rythmns. Another hit for Ricky. It takes you to another place. My favourite track is 'She Bangs'. There is romance, fiesta, and partying on this disc. Keep up the good work Ricky.

Although Ricky's last English album failed to impress this album certainly performs. Although it is essentially a "latin" album the songs have different feels to them, the lyrics are well sung and the tunes are addictive. In short, this is an album which has managed to persuade me not to give up that Spanish class when I had began to wonder just why was I trudging to college after work!

Ricky Martin's first english language album was probably the album that started the explosin in Latin Music in the late 90's and what an album it is. It starts off superbly with 'Livin' La Vida Loca' which is still one of the best latin/dance tracks ever released and sounds just as fresh now as it did then. Anybody expecting the album to be full of songs in the same style as 'Livin' La Vida Loca' may at first find themselves a little disapointed as there are lot of ballads and mid-tempo tracks also present but all of these are done very well. My favourites being 'Private Emotion' and 'She's All I Ever Had'. Strangely, the only track on the album i don't really like is 'Be Careful' his duet with Madonna which just sounds out of place. Well following the outstanding Almas Del Silencio Ricky had to pull something wonderful out of the hat, especially after the wait. Without knowing it, and after listening to this album I now realise that this is the album that Ricky just HAD to make. A Latino-fest just wouldn't have done and I admire Ricky's musical growth and the spot-on instinct he has shown in creating this great album. The fusion of cultures is exquisite; above all Ricky has certainly managed to hit the nail on the head in combining Eastern styles into his own Latin style without losing either. A really great album...Welcome back Ricky
