I hadn't heard anything by them until ITV used the track 'Welcome to the Black Parade' during the Brazilian F1 Grand Prix. I didn't know who it was by but was instantly hooked. A few mouse clicks later and I'd found out the artist and had ordered the album. I received it today and couldn't wait to play it. Absolutely fantastic! The only problem (!) is that I'm now going to have to buy the rest of the albums. It's such a long time since I've heard music that immediately grabs my attention. Worth every penny. Highly recommended if you like 'proper' music.

I love this. I think it's really great to be able to see The Black Parade in all it's epic glory, then get up close and personal in Hoboken. I preffered the NJ gig because there was more interaction with the audience, but even still the Mexico City blew me away with the explosions, etc. A must have for all of the MCRmy. End of.

I bought this album after "The Black Parade", and for anyone only just starting to realise the brilliance of MCR's music, I think that's the best way to go.It took me a while to get used to The Parade, but I then (roughly)knew what to expect from "Three cheers for sweet revenge". Three cheers is definitely darker than the Parade, but after hearing their third album you'll be used to darkness and anger.The lyrics in most of the songs are very aggressive,but I guess that's what pulls you in. My favorite tracks are "Helena", "Give 'em hell, Kid", "To the end", "Jetset life is gonna kill you" "Thank you for the Venom" and "I'm not Okay (I promise)". I got this album after The Black Parade and Three Cheers, and I would recommend that order for anyone only just entering the punk-rock world. You can definitly tell it's their first album. As my dad put it, it's unpolished, and I really love that about the album. The lyrics are violent and harsh, but touching at the same time. Through both Bullets and Three cheers MCR use a doomed lovers theme. If you like that (like me), listen to "Early sunsets over monroeville", "Demolition lovers" and "Drowning Lessons". This album sounds dark but they're all really good songs.A momentous first album. You're gonna love it!

i recommend this to any big my chemical romance fan, but only buy it for the video diary because u will find yourself only watching the making of the music videos once but the video diary is amazing its has so much about them and what life was like from the beggining of this ever growing band and i warn you you do have to be a big my chem fan because the diary goes on for just over 2 hours

This is seriously one of the best CDs I've ever heard. I don't understand how this band isn't much more popular than it currently is (even though they have broken up). It just mixes the emotional lyrics with outstanding instumentals to create this mind blowing collection of masterpieces. Yea, this type of music may not be your cup of tea but if you are a 'rock' lover at all then just have a listen to this. In my opinion, this is better than their last CD; it seems better organised. I think they were finding their feet with that one and although it was still good, this one tops it by far. If you have listened to this and agree with me somewhat, listen to 'God or Julie'.
