Royksopp is a wonderful find, and in particular Melody A.M. The group have, and with great success, produced a collection of tracks with great continuity and, I must add, respect for their listener's ears. It is truly a delight to put on this record. Although the tracks can be soothing, and ideal for chill out, I thought a few allowed you to do anything but chill out. Poor Leno in particular is sexy, and creeps up on you when you're least expecting it. Brilliant.

Very different to Melody AM. I didn't like all the tracks on this album but What Else Is There is an outstanding track. it's well worth having in your CD collection despite a few flaws.

A brilliant song! I can't stop playing it. I didn't think it was possible to top the success of Melody AM but I was mistaken, your music means a lot to me and to your fans all over the World - all the best with the single "What Else Is There" and the album "The Understanding". Please keep bringing us your unique Scandinavian grooves. Royksopp make real music and are 100% talented, not like X Factor & Pop Idol wannabees.

This is a very groovy and smoothly mixed, retro dance entry in the Back to Mine series, and in my opinion, one of the best I've heard yet. The tracks in this mix range from 1973 to 1985. They touch on late 70's disco and funk, and early to mid 80's italo disco. Interest in italo disco has peaked lately, with this Röyksopp mix, another retro mix called Hellboys, and a handful of new artists such as those featured on After Dark, who are creating new sounds molded from the past. Röyksopp has definitely touched all their Italo Disco bases, by including some of the most popular tracks of this early to mid 80's European genre: Mr. Flagio's Take A Chance, Valerie Dore's Get Closer, and Klein and M.B.O.'s Dirty Talk. This is my favourite Royksopp single ever. I cant explain it, but the song is so gorgeous, its very chill-out with a breakbeat, and a melody that stays in your head for a long time. The video is fantastic, i'm glad MTV have been playing it loads, its quite artistic.

This song really grabs it for me, whether it be the hypnotic 'twinkle' or the soothing drum cycles. The Royksopp duo really put it all together here. The song will appeal to you if you are a dance lover, techno freak or have no real fixed musical genre intrest. This is an excellent song for use as a meditation aid, as you will soon be carried off into the repetitiveness of these sparse elements, but put them together and you have this masterpiece!
