...that translates into an amazing tune, that I absolutly love! This was the biggest song in Europe and was a no1 for a record breaking time. Shakira herself has let out many amazing and no1 hit songs and this really is one of the it's amazing and fantastic etc!!! Buy it now at this price.

Shakira is the one - and I'm not talking about the CD single here either! She is the greatest latin singer of our time who has achieved an amazing mix of her latin roots, arabic style (again her roots) and conventional pop - and made it into a worldwide success story. "The One" is a "normal" sounding pop song however (no latin/arabic styles here), yet I think it is her best song to date and it's appeal has never worn off in all the time I have owned it. It has an absolutely amazing tune to which it will remain in your head for ages once you've got it there, superb lyrics to which you will just have to sing along to and to complete the perfect package, a backing sound that is just awesome and just right for this song. I hesitated to buy this at first because it only contains tracks that are on the other albums. Yet after listening to a snippet on www.shakira.com I had to buy it because Shakira is one of those few people who still sounds amazing live. The songs are much the same style, even with added warbling. Watch out for Ciega, Sordomuda - although the music is stunning, it doesn't quite go at the right pace and can make you cringe in places.

I thought that 'Oral Fijacion vol. 1' was excellent... my spanish is pretty rusty but i got most of it... Vol. 2 however blew me away.. After having imported my copy from USA I am pleased to say this collection of works is impeccible... the songs are well constructed and sung beautifully. Also as shakira has said in the past, her songs rely heavily on her "female intuition and feminine artistic licence" as always its all here and does not disappoint... I Love It!
