This is one of the best hardcore metal albums to date. Very clever and heavy riff writing. Drums are amazing, vocals are amazing. This band puts most bands that are in the limelight to shame. Buy it. You will not regret it.

Bought this (Animal Notes) originally in Exeter at the now long gone Left Bank Records. A slightly quirky Canadian (I think) rock outfit headed up by one mildly weird John Palumbo who wrote all tracks, sings and plays piano. Good, though, in its day and it still packs a punch with great lyrics, though it's shame this (1989 issue) CD copy isn't digitally remastered, as the mix is a bit rough. Safety in Numbers is rather sorely lacking John Palumbo (and any keyboards) but nevertheless has a few interesting songs on it. Apart from that, I've never heard anything else at all from the rest of their moderately extensive catalogue. Rangersat Midnight is the stand out track on Animal Notes, though it's all quite good in it's own offbeat but gutsy ... Read More:
