I have two little girls age 6 and 8. We have owned this cd for over 2 years and they just haven't tired of it. In fact I am contemplating buying another one as our original box is broken and the lyrics sheet unreadable! They know all the words and all the tunes and have spent many hours dancing on the lovely songs from the original soundtracks. This is a magical cd that I will keep forever long after my girls have left the nest to remind me what they used to be like when they truly thought they were princesses and that their prince charming would really come!

Took this along to my boxing club and the guys just wouldn't stop. Normally they are heading for the changing room ten minutes before the end!! A must for anyone needing a bit of motivation. EYE OF THE TIGER BABY!

There are 3 more CD's to add to this one they have many tracks you could make your own albums for each films on the four CD's. But this is a great start, each CD has been produced from original soundtracks so they sound like in the films fan will enjoy these Music lovers will like it as Disney always produce good films with amazing soundtracks some are awrad winning look out for the other CD's to add to this one.

Its great to get a CD with music that you were brought up with. I bought this CD for my niece and found myself (along with everyone else) getting more enjoyment from the CD than she did! Its great to have something to play that won't drive you nuts! My first concern in buying the CD was the songs were recorded with different voices and instruments to the films. However, the CD contains tracks that are identical to the songs that are heard on the Disney films, so the CD is everything you would expect. Recommended for young children (and adults that do not want to be driven mad by daft tunes).

This is just an album of old classics picked from various episodes right from the beginning....worth £8 to give to your aunte maggie or stick on the i-pod.

This should interest both Burton and Elfman fans. But a tribute cd played by an Orchestra of Orchestrated music doesn't sound all that exciting or different however there are a a number of positives. For a start is great hearing the Sweeney Todd without the vocals even though the main theme sounds alittle flat the rest makes up for it. I felt there was to much batman (12 minutes + Batman returns) especially when Plant of the apes and Big Fish had been overlooked. The piano solos from Corpse bride work very well together, A slightly different take on Beetlejuice was a treat while the rest is all pretty decent, Not as much percussing on theses recordings then the real ones which makes them a lot more softer ... If you're looking for a definitive Jerry Goldsmith compilation, this isn't it. There isn't one, unfortunately. This set contains some of his very best work, but also has some bizarre inclusions in favour of some very unnecessary omissions. An album like this has the opportunity to include some of the long-neglected gems from Goldsmith's career. Instead of two or three of his best Star Trek cues, we get the usual theme from Star Trek The Motion Picture (don't get me wrong, it's lovely as ever), together with his weakest Star Trek score of all, Nemesis. I bought this CD over a year ago and still listen to it regularly. I have my CD player in the kitchen and listen to this collection whilst I'm doing such exciting things as... oh, ironing, cooking etc! But this collection certainly makes these tasks go quicker! The CDs come in a case encased in a cardboard... erm... case. There is a booklet inside detailing all the films the clips come from, with a short synopsis and lots of photos and pictures of the posters. There is a good five minute-ish long clip from each film up to 1978 - each one has the theme music, incidental music and the most famous clips and sections of dialogue from each film.
