At first glance, this album looks quite promising - there's plenty of good themes on here. Dig a bit deeper inside the booklet though, and in tiny little print, there they are - the dreaded words: City of Prague Philharmonic, Daniel Caine Orchestra and Mark Ayres. Yep, Silva Screen cover versions - AGAIN. What is it with these guys? These must be the most re-issued cover versions ever! If you've got Silva's "100 Greatest TV Themes", Volumes 1 & 2, or the re-issues of the earlier Primetime releases, you've got the contents of this disc already. Don't bother with this one, it's a total waste of time and effort.

If you are looking for original versions of the original themes, forget it !. Most tracks are bland versions recorded by a non-descript orchestra in true "coffe bar back-ground music" style. Save your money and find the original recordings.
