Yes, The Fray do sound very much like others of their genre but this isn't a bad thing if, like me, you're a fan of this sort of music anyway. I bought the album on the strength of the single How To Save A Life and the reviews already posted here. I am glad I did. The music is punchy and catchy with some really profound lyrics which have been well thought out. Over My Head, How To Save A Life, All At Once, Look After You and Dead Wrong are my personal favourites.

The main vocalist has a nice, simple, easy listening voice which makes it nice to listen to on the ear. A sad song though, very cleverly written lyrics and it's something you'd want to listen to more than once in order to get the full effect of it. Buy this single, and then buy the album. As most of the songs on the album are similar to this. So if this is your thing, you won't be wasting your money.

The Fray, What a great album. Took a gamble and bought the album after hearing 'How To Save A Life' on the radio. I wasn't disappointed. Best songs on album are;'How To Save A Life', 'She Is' and 'Over My Head' they are similar to coldplay and snow patrol. The best album ive heard in a long time.

Seriously this is an amazing album. Their studio album was incredible, but hearing them live is just out of this world. I recommend if you bught How To Save A Life to buy this album as well, because they sound much better live than they do recorded! Although I would liked to have heard a couple more of their songs from their album.
