This album is amazing. It's not the white stripes so don't compare it to them, just listen and make up your own mind. A few years down the line this will be considered a classic album.

Ok it's a perfect song, very catchy, with beautiful clear-sound guitars from Jack White and his mates. When I heard it a couple of times, I liked so much, so I bought the single immediately. But nobody is talking how good the b-side is. The Bane Rendition is a fantastic rock instrumental track with plenty of highly inspired guitar tunes... it goes low and silent and then loud again so beautifully.

'Hands' is the second full lenght single to be taken form the Raconteurs debute album. Its a more mellow song compared to 'steady, as she goes' as its a Brenden Benson led song. This is an obvious single, but i feel it doesnt have the catchiness to gain any new fans, and that is why it did not enter the top 20. The b-sides on all of the 3 formats are also more uninteresting than the steady as she goes single, as they are all taken from various radio session, which all of the fans would have already heard. However the song is in its own right very good. The lyrics are good and when jack sings backing vocals, it really shows how they are a great musical pair. All in all hands will on be brought by the fans, but it is a good single by the best band of 2006
