Yet another brilliant album, from Thunder.
I have to say that their recent albums are much better than their earlier albums (although I do still love back street symphony).
Can't wait to see them on tour again, as they're fantastic live too!

After hearing Backstreet Symphony on the radio I decided to give this band a try, with a name like Thunder and the band being unknown to me at the time, I thought this song would probably be the only great song on the disc with a mix of good and average songs, like most albums, but thought I`d give them a shot - How wrong was I!

The CD was put in my CD player and didn't come out for a good week - no - it was a great week! Every song is simply amazing and the more you listen, the better it gets. The album is full of head bobbing, air punching, classic rock riffs that could turn a funeral into a party, mixed with a few epic ballad type tracks, the amazing Love Walked In and Until My Dying Day along with a dash of humour from Englishman ... After hearing, "Loved Walked In" for the first time two weeks ago, I had to find out more about this band so I bought this greatest hits album next day, what can I say, it's amazing!!!
Some really great songs and an album that's encouraged me to order more of their CDs.
Thunder Rock!!!

No matter how much I listen to this album, I can't figure out what is wrong with it.

You see, in principle, there is nothing wrong. Same guys that made the fantastic Backstreet Symphony get together and follow the same recipe. Is that what went wrong?

The vocals are good, the guitar style is similar, but somehow Laughing on Judgement day doesn't rock like Backstreet did. For starters is the lenght of the record. As a matter of personal taste, 14 songs are too many for me on a record of this style.

Then is the lack of clear scorchers like Backstreet had in Distant Thunder or Dirty Love.

Laughing on Judgement days almost sounds like a Thunder By Numbers kind of record. It is not bad, but it does not stick with ... Read More:

This is by some distance Thunder's finest effort. Just Another Suicide, All I Ever Wanted and It's Another Day are impeccably written, still sound fresh and would do very well in today's market. The production is rocky without being cheesy.

It could be argued that after this they gave up on trying on the quality and being successful and are now releasing album after album of dated riffs and cheesy lyrics to please their fanbase, many of whom didn't like this album. What a shame

Thunder are a great band without question and this album is evidence of that. The albums title track is a little weak but from track two onwards the sound is totally increadable! In my opinion, the best tracks on the album are Dirty Dream, last man standing and The Devil Made Me Do It. they are all classic hard rock track's and really set the album alight. A Million Face's and My Darkest Hour are good ballad's that may take some time to grow on you, but they do. All in all this album is just increadable and i certainly hope the boy's keep it up and that their next album is as good as this fantastic production!!!

Having recently been introduced to Thunder and seeing them live, I am of the opinion that they are one of the best bands in the country and this album has only confirmed my views. Full of great riffs and head bopping songs, this is going to be in my car stereo for a long time to come.

The only thing I am a little disappointed with is the song Amy on the Run. I was really excited that I would have a song with my name it, they are few and far between, and although it is a great song it caused my husband to laugh out loud. Why did Amy have to be a man????? I will never live this down, having said that it is a great song and could be one of the best on the album!!

Great album guys, this has to be a must have in all rock collections!

I got this for my birthday and i have to say that i love it! It's a cracking album and the second disc is great too!! Harry james co-writes a lot of the songs here and this is certainly obvious when you here the powerful drum beats. Luke morley is a great bass player, and yes he's a mint guitarist too. I was shocked to see him as the bassist but he does a really good job! From disc 1 i would say that i love every track apart from love worth dying for and you cant live your life in a day. I like them but one's a slow ballad and the other is a slightly bluesy affair.
From disc 2 my fave's are histrute (i think) boogie and somebody to love (not the queen song). Stl is a really strong song which, much like too bad and leathel combination should have been on the album. Hb is just the biggest ... Read More:
