This disc is simply beautiful. Two are its main characteristics:continuity and change. Continuity relates to individual tracks which display a pronounced element of recursion that is repetition with slight variation of the same theme which promotes a feeling of soothing, calm and relaxation. Recursion is something employed successfully in distinctly different areas:in music famously employed by J.S.Bach to excellent effect in his baroque compositions, in graphics by Escher and in Mathematics by Goedel while it forms the basis of fractal Geometry. This CD is excellent quality for its budget price; it is very calming and creates a relaxing ambience to help you chill, de-stress and unwind. It is excellent background music for reading to, soaking in a bath and also works great to help you get off to sleep.

Tony Joe White never fails to deliver. His own style and voice make him immediately recognisable and he's now teaming up. Another very interesting album from TJW. Gotta be good so gotta have it! George.

I didnt like this CD at all!! I found it made me very agitated and unable to focus & relax when trying to meditate. Another reviewer made a valid point that it is hard to find something suitable for each individual. So I have leant the CD to a couple of friends & they said the same I Do not recommend this cd!! Especially for people just starting out, as when your a beginner, it can be quite hard to learn how to relax & meditate properly, and this CD certainly wont help!!!

I have these tracks on vinyl, which belong to my late father (given to hime by my late auntie suzie) I have wanted to have these tracks on cd so I can have them every where I go. Absolutely brilliant vocals, guitars, and atomosthere.......

I've bought literally all this man's music,seen him live several times,and think that this is his best overall album.So many great tracks,but dip the lights,lay back and listen to the title track a few times - it's just brilliant.He does a tremendous live version on the Live in Germany DVD.Cannot see how this only rated 2 stars previously but what's an opinion?
