I am huge fan of Usher, but was concerned after reading the many reviews this album has received. However those who slate the album are not themselves any favours. I found the album to be a really good one, and one that takes Usher to a new level. It is true there is a slightly different feel to the music but is this not what we would want. Too many artists stick with music that bears little change from their last albums. This new album is slightly different but not to his detriment. This style is not that different but just what allows his maturity to shine through. I purchased the album and was not disappointed at all, if you are an usher fan then I feel you would live to regret not to get this album.

Yeah is a great song, and Usher has a great voice. If there were more beats like this, the album would have been great, instead yet more R&B Love songs, How many can Usher make. Caught Up, My Boo, Burn and Yeah are the good tracks, most of the others are average or filler. Buy this if you are a diehard Usher fan or love R&B

A classic album of the 80s was thriller. the classic album for the noughties is 8701. an amazing album. flawlessly put together and so memorable. this album has served as a soundtrack to a time in my life and to do that demonstrates the power of the album. amazing!!!

U MAKE ME WANNA is by far the best song on this album. The only reason i gave it four stars is because it doesn't have enuf tracks.

1st, this is not a compilation of Usher's lesser songs, its usher's debut album and its a complete album for a 15/16 year old usher @ that time. Wit tracks like can u get wit it, think of u, crazy, love was herre n the likes, u'll still find it betta than most r n b around today.

The album has an amzing blend of rhythm and is extremly well put together! Yeah it certainly has the edge and will make u want to listen to it more and more and will have you singing your heart out. 'Yeah' - with Ludacris, still undoubtedly the number 1 choon on the album. And if you buy the special edition copy u even get the amazing duet with Alicia Keys. A must have for any music lover.

This is one of ushers all time greatest songs and is a stand out on his new here i stand album his vocals are so much more mature and the sound and lyrics combine for one almighty track

What can I say? If you're reading this review, chances are you will already have heard this new song from Usher ft. Lil' Jon & Ludacris!! This song brings Usher screaming into the new year with a tune that is both catchy and will definately get you out on the dance floor!! It has a great beat, very catchy chorus, some clever lyrics and good supporting vocals from the likes of Ludacris & Lil' Jon, both of whom you shall be hearing alot more from in the coming months (with Lil' Jon releasing his first single on these shores, from the hit Playstation 2 game Need for Speed:Underground). This is a great listen and a must have track from a great artist that keeps coming back for more.
