This is a great CD, obviously for Christmas. But whatever you do...DON'T PUT IT ON REPEAT! You will soon go insane having this on repeat, unless you love Christmas songs. We bought this to put in a jukebox over Christmas, and it was constantly on! Its good if you are having family round, as maybe background music, but loudly, it would drive you insane...

This 3 CD boxset is crammed full of the greatest hits from the best decade of music --- the 80s! It makes for a good introduction for anyone who dosen't already own an 80s comp or just for those who want to relive the music. I wouldn't say that this is the best set to buy on the market, many of the biggest hit singles of the decade haven't been included but all the same, there's enough good songs by some great artists to keep the customer happy. Recommened!

Some real gems here. Granted some of the tracks have been released on other compilation records (namely Gilles Peterson's; indeed Forge used to DJ with Gilles back in the eighties; check out their excellent Dingwalls record) but that's because the songs are excellent. There's a nice mix of funk, jazz, folk and soul here that is sure to make your average party goer stand up, take notice, and applaud your unique and well flavoured musical taste.

Such a brilliant soundtrack to a great movie! Saw it at the LFF and made me laugh so much! Best film I saw in the festival! The soundtrack makes the film even more entertaining- the reworkings of some of the contemporary songs are really excellent. Marius De Vries who did Moulin Rouge has outdone himself! The Noel Coward and the Cole Porter tracks are a joy as always and Ben Barnes and Jessica Biel really impress with their vocals! Loved the movie. Love love love the soundtrack!

Although the music on here is fantastic and as eclectic as you could hope for I was under the impression (maybe I missed something) that the tracks would include the introductions by the man himslef. However, the intros come in a separate booklet and are NOT on the CD. As I said, a great CD but just be warned that this is not the actual shows themselves. Cheers!

This is my favourite Christmas CD, it has something for everyone! It's the perfect antidote for the tired old tunes that everyone plays at Christmas (if I hear "I wish it could be Christmas every day" one more time I won't be responsible for my actions), the highlights being "Zat you Santa Claus?" by Louis Armstrong and "Silent Night" by Dinah Washington. Give it a go and you won't be disappointed, especially at this price!!
